Disappointing prize cars

The most disappointing thing about GT5 is winning a series of races, getting a gift car ticket and getting something you already have. Got a GT40 1969 when I already had one :sick:
But after having to buy a nascar to enter the nascar race, I now have won another 3 nascars :grumpy:
 
If you're annoyed by winning cars you already have, why don't you look up the gt5 car prize car list?

If you get a Gift Car ticket level 24 for instance, you don't know what car it's going to be. Like I just finished extreme series b spec and got another poxy nascar.
 
For gift cars you can't do anything to prevent getting a car you already have. But with a and b-spec races, you can go to the gt5 prize car list by going in the guides section of gtplanet.
 
I suggest for the Level 9,12,21,24 tickets that you use a thumb drive before using them. Make a backup save before you use the ticket. That way if you get a duplicate you can just restore the old save and try it again for something new.
 
The level 24 tickets are frustrating. You can win the F10, F2007 and FGT, but I already bought all of those. I guess I'll get a different coloured FGT.

Yeah, and you can't even give them to a mate. Such a waste having to remove something like a vintage GT40 from your garage

That's just another example of the many, many poor or retarded design choices by Polyphony. Now, you can bet your last dollar that there will definitely be representatives from the Gran Turismo Fanboy Defense League (GTFDL) to rush in and throw out ridiculous arguments defending nonsensical design choices, but the fact remains that they are indeed ridiculous.
 
Audi R10 for the Lemans 24 hours A-spec, i already have that so I really don't feel like doing that race

GT5 is full of fail everywhere... and yet Kaz it's pretty happy about the game... :dunce: I would be completely dissaponted from myself if I was him... :yuck:
