Example my GT5 disc is from EU, but my PSN account is from asia. So if I purchase the DLC will the DLC appear in my game as my disc is from EU?

I tried using stealth code for asia but non of the stealth car appear in my EU copy of GT5.

Your DLC must match the region of your disc. Always.

If i buy US GT5 disc with new US psn account, does it mean that i have to start all over again?
Yep Complete restart needed.
Save games are game region locked as well as PS3 user ID locked. you can gift over cars under 1mill and borrow the others.

Just create an EU account and fill in the addresses with random numbers/letters (but make it look like an address).

As said, account and disk region must match in order to use DLC.

Yep It wont work the account you download on will need to be the account you install on from GT5. So Hes still going to have to restart from Zero even on the EU account.
GT5 service tokens don't transfer from one PSN account to the other they are Fixed to PSN ID.
Like content you buy on HOME its only on one PSN ID as theres no data stored on your PS3 its stored on your server side PSN profile.. Same as the service token for PS+ access is only on 1 PSN ID.

You can just create a secondary European psn and buy the dlc from that, and then play it from your Asian psn.

You did not read the above did you.
you can't transfer the addons there PSN ID locked as there not stored on the PS3 there located on the PSN ID data...

This.
Buy the content on an account from the same region as the disc, switch back to your Asian account and gain the DLC purchased from the other account.

Simple.

Does not work the content is only going to be unlocked on ONE PSN ID.The store will not download any thing the DATA was allready installed in GT2.0 Patch. The GT5 installer under the download content button. Will only add it to the save game of the PSN ID that paid for it.

If you change PSN ID there will not be any bonus cars in the garage because you changed save game.
PD are allready ahead of people trying to share Paid for Content This new system is there to stop Game content sharing.
If you want the cars on more than one PSN you have to Buy on those PSN IDs.

Says who?
It worked for the Edge Special Camaro, why would this be any different?

EDIT (after GraphiteGB's edit):

Your argument does not prove anything at all. The Edge Special Camaro was added to the game thru an update as well. In terms of the Camaro, a ticket was downloaded from the PS Store and installed to the PS3. ALL accounts on the PS3 have the Camaro unlocked as ALL accounts on the PS3 share game data.

Tell me, when you start a new save on another account, do you REDOWNLOAD ALL the update data? The answer is no, as that would be an utter waste of space and a major inconvenience for anyone sharing their console.

The content preview does.
you have to use an IN GAME installer to unlock it.

There is nothing unlocked when you pay on the store. Theres no download from the store, all the store does is put a voucher unlock on your profile.
Cars are added as tickets buy the installer they do not go directly into the garage.
Tickets as you know do not cross PSN IDs they are stored per PSN ID seperate from each other.

I'm not sure where you're getting your information from, but that is not how the PlayStation Network works. You may want to read up on the structure of the PS3 filesystem as well as how the PS3 downloads it's content from the network.

As far as the OPs question goes, there is no way of knowing until the 18th, though as I've shown with past DLC, your best bet would be the method I and 2 or 3 others described already.

If i got a new EU account, I will download the DLC using the EU account. But all along I played my GT5 using my Asian account. Does that mean I have to start all over again?

Whats wrong with Sony? Why must they split all the games/account into different region. Why can't they centralize the whole system.

Damn, seems like the only way for me is to find an asian copy of GT5.

Because I played my GT5 using an asian account with a EU disc. Therefore, I can't use the DLC function. In order not to start all over again(if I sign up for EU PSN account, I got to restart my game), best solution for me is to find an asian copy of GT5.

Sorry, I'm really a noob in terms of playstation.
This is a perfectly legitimate question for a legitimate dilemma. You have to buy the DLC on a European PSN account for the DLC to work with your European save. But your save is on an Asian PSN account.

So the question is, will DLC bought on one account work for all accounts on the same system?

If yes, then you're good, you can just buy it on your Euro account.

If no, then you're screwed. You've either got to start a new saved game on the European account or get an Asian copy and start over on your Asian account.

I think the answer is probably yes. I can tell you for sure though on Tuesday, since I can test it with my accounts.

If you check the 2.0 DLC thread https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=227330

PSN purchase unlocks the items in the DLC tab which are then added to your game, (cars are given as tickets). So part of what he said was definately right, but that doesn't neccesarily mean to say the content won't appear on the DLC tab for more than one account.

Yep If you want to keep using your Asia PSN account yes you will need to buy a Asia version of GT5 and buy Asia content.
But that won't stop you from having to restart. As your save game won't transfer to the Asia copy. youll then have 2 save games on the PS3 HDD. one from EU version 1 from Asia version.
The same happened to Asia HK users who could read english and got Eyepet from EU there was no DLC on Asia Store so they could not get there platinum trophy on there Asia account as there was no way to download. In the end they had to buy an Asia copy to get the download from store trophy.

If PD had used the Store installer instead of there own installer (the same as HOME does)
you would not have had this problem

But because PD is using the service system on the store that alters PSN ID data not Game data you have to go through this..

I give up on this thread.

Mods, I'd recommend closing the thread before more false information is spread by GraphiteGB a certain someone. The OP's neglect to read the full thread leads me to believe they are not looking for an answer.

This question is impossible to answer officially prior to the 18th anyway.

I believe what GraphiteGB said make sense. Lets wait till 18th and see how it goes. I'm sure some people out there are facing the same problem as me.

Just for reference, we have a precedent to use as an example.

I have five EU accounts, one US account and one JP account on one of my consoles. Just after GT5 came out, I used a promotional code for a Chromeline Jaguar XJ13 Race Car '66 on my main account. As I logged into GT5 from the save on my main account, the Jaguar was added. Woo. As I logged into GT5 from the save on each of the other EU accounts, the Jaguar was added. But neither the US account nor JP account had the Jaguar added to their gamesaves.

As a sidebar, the Jaguar disappeared from my main account's save when I transferred it to the other machine for some reason I can't recall (probably B-Spec or Remote Racing) and was then added back to it when I transferred the save back again.

I have the same dilemma.. I have the US copy of the game but I am playing it with my AU account.. So either I buy an AU copy of the game and start all over again or buy the DLC with a US account...

I really dislike region locks, what is the point of having games region unlocked but DLC region locked.. seems to screw over any one who purchase the game from different region..
