Disney Cars 2 (PS3)

Greetings!

I got the Cars 2 for my son thinking that he'll like it better than running the oval circuit in GT5. We use the GT Force Pro.

Cars 2 in-game "Settings" doesn't offer any customization of controller key mapping. The steering wheel works but everything else is mapped to buttons; pedals don't work except the "gas" pedal seems to move the car in reverse.

Are there any hacks(?) for a console like PS3 or am I out of luck until his hands get bigger to be able to steer & press buttons?

I don't have the game personally, but I'd assume your pretty much out of luck. The target market for this game is more than likely little kids, and I'd be willing to bet the vast majority of them don't have access or don't want to use a wheel. Cars 2 is a racing game that probably needs a controller to be played the way the developers intended.
