I read somewhere in one of the forums that PD will review the top ten drivers in the seasonal TT's and remove the times from any of them caught cheating after the event has closed. I captured this screen shot from one of the top drivers replay. Do you think he is far enough off track that PD will remove his time from the final standings? Just for bearing sake, this is the exit of the first chicane.

I know this gets into exactly what is a cheat and what is not, but would be interested in all of your opinions?

Borderline. not sure of the real life rules on this sort of thing but my gut feeling is it's a bit suspect.

If it did not register as off the track (creating a red time), then I can't see how they could.

I don't think individual players have ever been removed from Leaderboards, but they did completely take down a TT since the Seasonals started due to track cutting that they needed to patch. It was the Mercedes SLS challenge, IIRC.

If they were actually going back and looking at individual replays, they would have thrown out the recent FF TT where all of the top drivers were just skidding and bouncing off of the walls. I don't remember the TT # off of the top of my head.

Drivers will do this in an actual race, I think sometimes they are over critical and sometimes they let way too much go thru. The one thing that irritates me is on the top gear test track if you cut the follow thru corner with 2 tires off the track like the stig then you get a red time. All drivers push the rules to the limit but unless its a blatant cheat I think they should let it go. The picture here, the driver is still on the green tarmac and I believe this is in one of the hairpins where cars usually go off the road from congestion. Its borderline but I would let it pass. There is another corner on this track that has a smaller green section and I have had 2 wheels barely touch it and got a red lap so go figure.

I always thought that you had to have at least one tire on the white line to be legal. At least have a tire on the curb. It's hard to tell if there is one tire on the curb in this shot. The right rear may be on the curb or just the fender skirt. In any case, we are 7 days away from this TT ending and I guess we will see then.

I watched DEVIL-CRINALE_13's lap and I say that, by WRS's standards - his lap is clean.
He's literally on razor's edge with not even 5mm to spare - but he has 2 wheels on the curb, clean lap.

They removed half of the people from top 10 in Sebastian Vettel X2010 Challenge TT on Suzuka.
DEVIL-CRINALE_13, feroozGT, GTP_DHolland and a few more for cutting.

feroozGT is understandable. For some reason they don't always have a replay available. That could open them up to reasonable doubt unfortunately.

I thought that big green area was part of the curbing Green means good right?
