What the hell is the deal with GT3? Italy is supposed to be Heaven for cars, and GT3 doesnt have jack for it. They have FIAT :banghead:, Lancia :banghead:, Alfa Romeo :banghead:, and Pagani 👍. The only company I can stand is Pagani, and they arent what I think of when I think Italian Supercar. God Im pissed about this, and GT4 better do something about it. Damn EA and their exclusive licenses.

I know, it's utter **** that Polyphony didn't just go ahead and put in some Ferarris, Lambos and such. I hated it so much that I might not even buy GT4. That'll show the mother****ing mother****ers.

I think that anyone who posts on this forum will be buying gt4 as soon as possible.

*cough cough* *waves hand in the air to clear out smoke* I heard my sarcasm-meter going nuts, when I went to check it out it exploded in my face, thanks Klos. :irked: :p

I dunno... the cars they have are... ok. They jsut left out a LOT of cars, even cars from those manufacturers they had that kick ass.

It would have been better if the Lancia Stratos had been in GT3...(that is, available without any gamesharks etc.) Truly, Italy hasn't got much to offer, nor does France. I hope the european countries are better represented in GT4.

Does France have anything to offer period? The only company Im familiar with from there thats worth anything is Venturi, but they represent the 6 cylinder too much. That is only acceptable in Japan, everywhere else needs V8 or more. ;)

It's because stupid Italians are too cautious with their licensing. In my opinion, it would be an honor to have my car company on such a well-renowned game.

I'd rather have a Lancia than a Ferrari any day. And Pagani? don't get me started about there rice puddings for brakes.

V8's aren't very common in areas like France. Most of their cars aren't going to excite you if you think V8's are the be all and end all of performance.

What I want to see are the good old UN Nissan Patrols.

And any other dumpy old 4wd that has, at some point in time, been used in the middle east.

That would most surely own.

Damn straight.

I would also like a mud encrusted Landrover from the 70's.

That would truly 0wnz j00.

Damn jiggedy.

We should add another 'What we want to see in GT4' thread to the 32983755939238523759263 currently wasting away in the rumour and speculation forum 👎:indiff:👍

I dunno. I think it'd be pretty damn hard to beat the Real Driving Experience (tm) of slamming a horrible, clapped-out 1980's Holden Commodore around the track. But the driver has to have a mullet, and no helmet.

Failing that, a 1969 Nissan Bluebird with chain-smoking single mom at the wheel. Damn, we're onto something here! Let's indeedy go make that thread! In the drifter's section. Because drifting is cruise control for kool.

BTW another question that Ive wanted to know forever. What nationality does McLaren claim? Are they German, cuz they have really close ties with Mercedes when it comes to FIA. Anyways that should be in the game too damnit.

McLaren are an English Formula 1 team, so it's probably logical to say they are an English company.

McLaren is Engilish, they use a BMW engine, but the HQ and manufacture is and was in England.

Theres alot of companies that use V6 engines, it depends on what type of power, torque, economy, response etc you want from the engine, moer cylinders doesn't make a car better, the TVR Tuscan uses a V6 (the new tuscan not the old race car) as does the T350C, Tamora, Cerbera speed 6 and the Speed 12 uses two V6's bolted together, the V6 isn't a weak engine, the ones in thoes TVR's are better than cars in their respective classes, the T350C for example beat a 911 GT3 round a race track, to top it off it beat a Pagani Zonda C12 as well.

It isn't funny in the slightest. Unless you've got a whacky sense of humor where you laugh at boring facts.

McLaren is an english company and uses a German engine. Yep.

when they built the f1 road car, they used a bmw v8, but their f1 (FIA spec race cars) cars do use mercedes-benz engines.

Bruce Mclaren the founder of Mclaren was a New Zealander.

Bruce Mclaren College is somewhere near me, but no, I don't get there.

Live4speed - at the risk of being unneccessarily pedantic, TVR don't make a V6 engine, they're straight sixes. They do look like a V from certain angles though, as the engine has to be canted to one side to fit it under the bonnet.
