fashioned after lewis hamilton wheel

red oak and plexiglass for strength

cut out is for sli pro and a few buttons and knobs

after glueing I will add wheel hub

then carbon fiber wrap and suede grips

This looks like an awesome project! I'll be checking in and following your progress you have a 10 for creativity!
 
I will use the wheel on a g27. with a chilicoke adapter for a normal wheel hub. so the wheel could really be used with any ffb base
 
progress update, painted and waiting for a few items. I went ahead and mounted and test drove. I am better in the curves i think. but with no kers or drs it tough staying in front

fits my hands like a glove. hand never looses contact when turning a huge plus
