Before reading this story, everybody should know that this and theses stories are fictive. None of this is part of my real life. At least, trademarks are real and I give them credits. Sorry for the bad english, I'mma french Canadian
Me and my garage been throught a big rush this summer tuning alot of cars here in Los Angeles. Customers were asking alot and I'm not blaming them, but now I want to relax and do my thangs. So I was talking with the guys in the garage, drinking a beer, big doors open, watching the girls, as I decided to make a little project car. First and foremost, I've been making phone calls to the importers to see what cool import car I should buy to make a big project of it. I called Mike from RB Motoring, an importer in Long Beach who is a big Skyline importer for the US. He told me that a freshly imported R32 was cleared from the inspections and was now on sale. It was a 1991 R32 GT-R with a RB26DETT engine. So I decided to drop off to Long Beach the same day to take a look on it. First thing I saw was the little brownish paint of the Nismo R32 S-tune. I LIKED IT !!!! Took a look around, no bodywork needed but needed new coil-overs in the back. 92966.2 km on the odometer. The interior was a little torn up because the Japan owner wanted to make a tuned car of it and started to get rid of the interior to make some ''weight reduction''. Mike first told me that the car was 20,000$... I told him ''come on we are friends''. Final price: 15,784$
Before I go sign the papers, I decided to try it. I saw the ATTENZA system was installed on it. The ATTENZA system is a controller that can transfer more power on the front wheels or full power on the rear wheels. I decided to make some fun and transfered everything in the rear done a burnout right in the parking lot... So after some fun laying down rubber, I signed the paper and hitted the highway back home to L.A.
Arrived to home it was 2 am because I stopped at some friends house to show them what I bought, I decided to jump on the dyno. First attempt, the engine was locked so I couldn't know the total power... I had 276HP with the engine lock. Taking 2 other hours to hack the ECU, second attempt: Total power of 304HP at 6800 rpm with a torque of 288.03ft.lb at 4400 rpm. After that, sleeeeeeping time...
The next day I drove to Infineon Raceway to try the car on the track. I was impressed of the performances of the car in its stock form. Done 2 laps and had a phone call from the garage, the brother had blown is engine and I had to order another one for him, so I gone back to L.A. I decided to call one of my HKS contacts here in L.A., asking him whats new in and to order some parts. First ordered a polished ports kit, a engine balancing kit, UP displacement kit and a ECU chip. I ordered these parts first because I wanted to rebuild the entire engine to make sure there is not a single bad thing...
