Ok i went on the GT5 website and looked at the DLC page.

http://us.gran-turismo.com/us/products/gt5/store/
Scroll down to:
Racing Car Pack
Go to [Car Delivery] in GT Mode to add the new cars to your garage.

So once we get there cars in the game, it automatically goes into our garage? And we cant buy them from the dealership or anything? So if I make a mistake and put an engine mod on a car and i decide I dont want it anymore, I cant do anything about it because I dont have the option to buy the car again to take off the engine mod.... Cmon PD, use your head!

Cmon BlackIce90 use your head! PD isn't dumb enough to make it one time thing, don't let fears control your thinking.

The DLC couldn't be put directly into your garage, they are RM's so most likely you will need to buy the car then the RM.

'Touring Car' looks very different from 'Racing Modification'. It's been shown you get as tickets to add, no doubting you can buy in dealer later.

This worries me a lot. What if I wish to sell one? So far the previous DLCs are unable to be deleted or anything.

hmmm... so what if i play gt5 on two different accounts, will i still be able to get the dlc on both accounts?

Well, if you compare it to the DLC (the 5 chrome cars) from the Collector's Edition of GT5. It is most likely a one time thing.

Why would you sell it? :dunce: Would you really drop 11 bucks on DLC just to pawn it off for in game credits?

PD needs to clarify how these cars will be put in the game. I think I will hold off from buying the DLC until I hear other people's experiences with the DLC.

I dont get it either, are these you're to keep once you buy the dlc or you actually have to buy the cars separetly? Anyone knows?

If you mod your stealth cars with the engine stage, you're pretty much screwed, you can't go back. And stealth cars are practically the same as DLC.

The collector's edition cars are not a one time thing. If you re-download them after deleting them from your save, they will show up again. Same with the Edge Shaving Gel Camaro. I recently reinstalled my data because I messed something up and had to re-download my CE cars. This should not be any different.

They are billed as touring cars not RM cars so, I too think that they'll be just like the chromeline cars. In your garage immediately, not paintable, not tradeable, not sellable (just remove from garage) but still cool. And available to all accounts on the same ps3.

Not at all, just use the power limiter in the settings, the only thing you can't change is the rigidity upgrade

To get a new one. What if I engine upgraded it? I don't want permanent cars. I also like to keep my garage clean of anything I don't use. That's why that stupid Camaro gets on my nerves so badly. I'd restart and what not, but I'm not sure what I'll lose. I'm afraid of losing something, and I don't know what I'd actually lose. I'd gain some things such as not using B-Spec, which I regret due to wasting my game time and losing that Camaro, which is nice to have gone. But if those Touring Cars invade my garage, that's going to mess with my OCD issues. I hope they are in ticket form...

Oh, and the overall cost is 12 not 11. :D

So are special colors one-time items as well?

This is an actual concern for me as well.

*wants to paint all my cars military gray*

I'm actually not the least bit excited for any of the cars in the DLC.
I will be buying all the DLC regardless to show my support for PD. I love what I'm hearing about Spec 2 and can't wait to get my hands on it.

You ought to be more compulsive about how you write. If you haven't been diagnosed with OCD then you're probably just nuts, because what you said was just crazy.

Can't give too much insight on the topic though. I don't have any DLC (stealth/chrome line), but it wouldn't really make sense to have them as one-time only deals.

They added the new NASCAR cars and the GTR to the dealership, so it is possible for them to implement a repeatable buy system. Which, if you ask me, is the most logical way to go about things.

But we really won't know until next week, will we?

That's how I hope they make it work. They should've just made any and all DLC cars purchasable in the dealership to begin with.

I haven't been diagnosed with it... I did search it up on wikipedia (not a great place but oh well) and I must say, pretty much all of the things it said, is what I do. The first paragraph just screams out "That's you!"

I should probably get checked out though. My mother says I have OCD. :p Not a credible course.. but oh well.

Example: I simply MUST have either 20, 40, 60, 80 cars in my garage. I touch each key on the keyboard an equal amount of times, I must get the same feel every touch I make with both hands, all fingers and thumb. Currently as I'm typing my pinkie finger continuously hits random keys. I must then engage in a touching fest to equalize the feeling. Is this not OCD? :dunce:

By the look of the GT5 website where it shows how to install the DLC the cars certainly look like they are in ticket form.
It also says that the tracks will be added to the game and that the gears/paints will go straight to there respective areas. :-)

EDIT: Look at the 'How to get it' Page. :-)

I don't mind the paints and gear and tracks. It's the permanent cars I won't accept. I would want to get them all to test them out, but this means I probably can't get rid of them. I guess once the DLC is out and downloaded, I'll try to see if they're road versions can be race modified into the touring car. Hopefully. :scared:

You guys do know that once you buy something on PS store its available for download again whenever you want. I dont know if that means you'll get them again but I thought it was worth sharing

You are overthinking this whole ordeal by a longshot. I am amazed that you're actually getting anxious and worried over DLC. Shouldn't the proper response to upcoming (and long-awaited) DLC be that of excitement and eagerness?

I really don't understand some of you kids.
