DLC Installing Hang up

I recently purchased the Motegi DLC. When ever I try to use the track. It says installing in the bottom right hand corner of the screen and just sits there. I have left it for about an hour max. At that point I cant go into any other menus and I am forced to restart the PS3, doing so gives me a series of error beeps and the system restarts. Has anyone else had this problem and what solution did u apply?

If you get beeps, 9/10 times, it means disk failure, either hard drive or blu ray drive. If you get constant freezing (not being able to load the game at all) in all of your games (not only GT5) you need to get it repaired. If games run off you system fine (hard drive), and everything seems good (movies on hard drive, games, music etc.), then it's more likely your blu ray lens that needs to be replaced.

I had similar problems when I first got GT5, the game wouldn't load at all! I got this game at launch, but started playing two days later because I had to replace my blu ray lens.
 
Well its the downloadable content for Motegi specifically that is causing the problem. Everything else runs well. Including games running directly off my hard disc. I even went as far as doing a back up and restore. Which i do frequently. Nothing seems to be helping. I have 2 profiles and it wont load on either of them.
 
Not too sure, aside from the beeps you mentioned earlier (which are all hardware related), I'm not sure what the problem is.

The only Thing I can think of though, is to try running the game without an internet connection (not just signing out, but actually disconnecting from the internet in settings).

Edit, Beep codes are used for troubleshooting hardware, the following are known codes; 1 beep = start up hard drive, 2 beeps = hard shut down, 3 = beeps = blu ray failure (possibly hard disk also). There are more, these are just common ones.
 
So I finally got it to work. I had delete all my saved game data and installed game data for GT5. I backed it up first of course. I took the disc out of the PS3 (first time in months). Turns out it was a bit dirty. Cleaned it out. I then re-installed the game and downloaded all the necessary dlc data from the PS Store again. After about 3 - 4 hrs of updates which needed to be re-installed everything booted up nicely. The track only took a few seconds to install this time. Now all is well in my world of Gran Turismo. :D Thanks for the replies.
 
my twin ring dlc is doing fine its just not giving me or my friends money for completing online races now.
