GT5 Family, I'm writing this petition (hopeful) to possibly motivate or encourage PD(as silly as it may seem) to bring in the most important, roots Racecars or Race-Mods that make up the sports car world, that are so important to us race/car enthusiasts, into our prized/sacred GT5. There are a couple types of enthusiasts, sportscar roadcourse racing, NASCAR, &/or bridged together by F1 race enthusiasts.. For sports/club car race fans the most important cars are the: Audi-R8 & TT-RS RC/RM, Aston Martin-Vantage RC/RM, BMW- Z4 & M3, Mini RC/RM, Ford- Mustang RC/RM, Ferrari-430, 458, F40/50 RC/RM, Lexus LFA RC/RM, Lamborghini-RC/RM, Mclaren-MP4 RC/RM, Mercedes- SLS RM/RC, & even the forgot about Nissan 370z RC/RM, not to mention the elusive Porsche, but we know where thats going, hehe. Overall, this isn't to complain, or to debate, its just a collection of views that I have asked the hundreds of people that have practiced or raced in my week-end race series that I put on 3x's a week-end.. GT5 is on every car at the Famed 24H race at the Nurburgring.. I love seeing that, & want to continue seeing that in years to come.. This year at 24hrs of Le Mans there were banners of Forza 4 Motorsports, I dont know about you, but that scared me.. Lets not drop the ball where Forza picked it up, they so easily came up with so many important cars, From ALMS to V8 SC's, & even Porche so effortlessly, please GT5, lets bring it back to the Top.. thanks GT Family

Is this a wishlist thread? I think so.

I am also beginning to think that 99% of the internet does not know how to spell Porsche.

What about Lamborghini or Koenigsegg? Not even me know if I spelled this last one correctly hahaha
 
I wouldn't worry about seeing Forza banners, Polyphony Digital/GT5 is still all over the place. Put it this way, for every 1 Forza banner, there's 2 GT5 banners.

All in all, I still have full confidence in the GT series.

Forza was at Sarthe as an official sponsor. Also had part of the track renamed for them... if you were wondering. Think they held an online 24h which coincided with the actual race too, could be wrong though as I don't box.

But don't let this get you down. Our fearless leader is still racking up class wins at Nürburgring, this year with the Academy folk. All in all, I don't think Kaz is shaking in his racing boots...
 
Have all the confidence & admiration in the world for kaz, & GT5, just helping to voice some organised hopes & dreams for what we would love to be able to drive in the future, plus remembering that Gran-Turismo was there from the beginning, & we'll show support to the end, reguardless of how it all plays out. It's amazing what impact people together can accomplish, & you cant be down on anyone for that..

I think 92% of the world can't spell Porsche and 99.8 don't know how to pronounce it. Porsche-uh, not porsh people!

Yeah, we're getting Porsche, Koenigsegg ( :confused: ) and Silverstone!

Along with 12 brand new GT-Rs :drool:

It's a family name. I went through school with my last name being pronounced wrong, and it is honestly the most annoying thing in the world.

I could only imagine old man Ferdinand's response... Gott in himmel! Zee name iz Porsche! Two syllable, ja?

In that regards i see how it can be annoying but i have found it depends on the country

Porsche North America pronounce it as 'Porsh-a', the correct way. Americans just say Porsh because we don't know any better. Those are usually the same people who think cars are just status symbols.

Back on-topic, all of the GT1, 2, 3, & 4 cars have already been listed over and over in the giant wishlist thread. Which sort of makes this one, pointless.

It would be interesting to know what the GT5 vs Forza4 revenue figures look like over the last six months, DLC vs DLC. Forza has gotten a fair share from me while GT5 has not. s there another prologue style release in the wings maybe?

funny you mentioned that because i just had tea with Kaz and he said that with the 1 porsche 911 and 1 lamborghini he's gonna add 4 more skylines to the dlc
