Dlc on reg1 gt5 in asia

Live in singapore(asia) n i bought gt5 region 1 last year.... I downloaded the dlc but cant extract the addon in the Downloadable Content aft i start up my gt5

My question is : must i wait fot the r1 addon on the 25?
But i heard that im on psn asia n r1 dlc is for the US only.....
What can i do to get the dlc

Then if i were to get a reg3 gt5... Will my gamesave be deleted...

To summerise.. Im on gt5 r1 using psn asia....
Plz help me..
 
hey mate, this kind of answers the question i had,

if this is not working for you, then it means that the dlc is region locked,

in which case you have to download dlc to match the region of your disc.

so looks like the only way to get it for you will be to get an r3 gt5 disc,

and im fairly certain this will mean your gamesave will no longer work.
 
Sorry man. I read thru the whole 40plus pages on dlc.
Think u r screwed.
To get dlc either restart with US psn acct on ur reg 1 disc or buy a region 3 gt5 and restart with the same Asia psn acct.
If u want to loan a region 3 disc to see if ur Asia psn gamesave still works, pm me. I live in Singapore and got 2 gt5 reg 3 disc.
 
Omg.... Hmmin that case..... I have 2 acc... If i reset my gt5 in my subb acc by using the r3gt5, the main acc gt5 r1 is still usable rite... ?
Meaning my subb acc i will use r3
Main acc i use r1

I was thinking of transfering my cars to the main acc holder gt5..... Then when i reset my acc gt5..... Retransfer my cars as gifts
 
Just to make things faster, no point trying a different region disc..

It does not work. You'll have to start over.

Best to do now is forget there's a dlc if starting over is out of the question.
 
With gift limit of 1 car Per day and limit of 1 million, it'll take a while but yes u can have the dlc in any acct ur psn region and disc matches the psn store. With region 1 disc, I wonder if u can have an us acct and get the dlc plus the NSX stealth bonus. As stealth maybe traditional dlc u might have it on ur Asia main acct.

I've already bought the course pack twice yesterday to confirm i'm screwed. R3 psn, R2 disc. This game is not worth a years effort of re - racing, grinding, collecting cars etc etc etc... 👎 No game is, dlc even less.

Its either they unlock region or account and problem solved, everyone is happy.

Hahahah frm the 1st gt till now...... Ive been playing this game since.....
This current gt is the most complicating one ever... I just thought that region selection was just nothing.. But now with online features booming... We gotta be carefull wat we get.. Hahaha
Well if tats the case.... Theres always alternatives which can be overcomed.. Ahha cheers..

Yes, that's true. We gotta be careful about regions now. But its something the ps3 system has been sold on: region free gaming. They changed it and we the gamers are getting punished. And i don't even want the r3 disc because there's no car museum. They crippled gt5 for r3! Museum worth more than dlc (to me at least). :ouch:
 
This sort of nonsense is why I have pretty much given up on the video game industry.

I bought Resistance 3 in the US but found I couldn't download the Online Pass with my main HK PSN account. So I immediately sold the game. EA Sports has thankfully managed to allow you to download the Online Code from a different PSN account but unlock online modes for all accounts, so at least I can play FIFA 12. Looks like I'm screwed with GT5 though. So frustrating...

I just can't understand why the international market is being marginalized. We are generally educated, informed and have money to spend. It's absolutely ludicrous that we are punished because we travel from country to country and purchase a console/games in different regions. Espcially when, as mentioned, this generation of the PS has been marketed as region-free blah, blah, blah. Unbelievable.
 
Well as games are geting more technologically compLex... So does every other system in the gamong world.....

Or mayb sony can just make psn store a worldwide market.......selling every dlc for every region in 1 market.... At least a start....
