DLC paint question

Is the new DLC paint really one use only?
if so that is a waste of money.
this question has been asked before somewhere but i couldn't find it, please someone answer this thread i want to know.

Yes it is once only. But a method of reusing it is to backup your save and paint a car you want in a DLC color, send it somewhere (to another account) and reload your old save. You'll have the paint still there and you will have a DLC painted car on the other account. Voila.

but couldnt you just go and download the paint pack again? and also, that is a waste of freaking money that i just spent D:
