DLC problem!

It seems that i have a big problem! I live in Holland and since day one i have used a US PSN account with my EU GT5. Is there any way for me to get GT5 DLC on my EU GT5 that i play on a US account?

Its region locked. So yes, you're up a creek unless you create an EU account.

Got a EU account but can't copy my save file, i'm not gonna start overgain with GT5 would take me months to get where i am now! So guess i will never be able to get any DLC!

That's the reason you should always buy a game and play a game on accounts that are from the same region. You couldn't copy your save file even if the new account were another US account.

Just start working on that new account! Seasonal events will boost your progress easely. You don't need those 1000 cars on both accounts anyway, and you can just borrow a car from your other account when you need one.

Yeah will have to do that, i have just one more question would my current save game on the US account work on a Imported US game. If it would the i could get DLC!

But why are you desiring to pay more money just to get back your old save account? You can buy the DLC and use it on your new save account. I'm also not sure if a US game will bypass your problem as you may be directly routed to the SCEE store and that wouldn't allow you to use the DLC.

Because i don't wanna start all over again, it takes too long to get to level 37 where i'm now at.

But with Seasonals you can reach level 25 in less than 1 day... I understand your frustration but think about it. Are you willing to go and spend $20+ AND buy the DLCs (amounting to possibly about $45-50)?

I had the same problem. My disc was EU and my account/savegame was american. Then I created an EU account, bought the DLC on this account then I activated the DLC onde my american account. Simple!!
Now I can use my new tracks and cars with my old savegame.

What? i thought you could't share the DLC between accounts that are not frim the same region! Would love for this to work because i want the new track so bad!

I got your problem solved buddy.

Switch your country to EU. People move, it happens.

Looked it up you can't change the region of a account.

Yes, you can! Now I have the DLC on both accounts, american and english. Nice!

Yes you can. As I said above. I did it myself. EU account, EU disk. Then buy the DLC. Activate on EU account. Switch to US account and activate the DLC on US account. Eastwood! That 's what i've done.

A couple of my friends changed region since they moved. They e-mailed Sony and they got their old accounts back. Sony can change your region.....but I suggest starting a new game save. With the 200% bonus and the seasonals paying 1 mil XP per race....you'll reach level 37 in no time.

I will try what the other guy suggested download it on my eu account and the activate it on my us account. Should work because my disc is EU.
