DLC questions

Hey all,

First off I've been away from GT5 for some time now. Where I used to live had absolutely horrible internet and could never update the game or participate online, seasonal events, etc. But now I've got fantastic internet and got everything fully updated.

My question is this:

As far as the DLC goes, if I buy say the racing car pack, does that automatically put those cars in my garage, or does that make them available for purchase and I just need a bazillion credits to use what I just spent actual cash on?

Also, a lot of the cars are already in the dealership, and just have a little download icon next to them. Does that mean, say I only want the Aventador, I can just spend the credits on it and not purchase the rest of the DLC?

I guess it's kind of the same question just phrased a little differently, I just want to make sure I understand what it all means. Also I tried multiple searches for DLC questions and answers but didn't find much so I hope this isn't something that's already been discussed.

When you buy the DLC, the cars are put in your garage, and you can buy more if you so wish from the dealership with credits. And you have to buy the packs in their entirety, you can't buy individual cars.
