Hey all,

I have been trying to find an answer to my problem but it seems I am the only one that has come across this. I purchased the DLC pack and everything works fine except the the Normal SPA track. The other tracks (Kart 1&2, and weather change SPA) work fine. Spa Normal will get to the opening screen where I can do setups and such...but when I hit the green button to go into the race it freezes my PS3. I have done the usual tricks like database rebuild but it still has not solved my problem. Anyone else had this happen and is there a fix? I back up my save game on a regular basis, but I really don't want to wipe it and reload everything if there is a simple fix for this. Thank you!

erase the dlc data and re instinstal it

Sounds simple enough, but I am unsure how to erase the DLC data. Is it separate from the regular GT5 data? Sorry if this is obvious, but im not very PS3 savy!

Yup a simple reinstall should do it. Never had to erase DLC myself but I'll take a look on my XMB now for you and see if it's a separate file you can delete.

Edit: can't find what should be deleted hopefully someone else can help

One file in the PS3 Data File will, say in one way or another GT5 Save Data, and the other should say GT Game Data. Delete the game data. After go to PS Store and download the files for GT5 DLC. Start the game up and update accordingly. when at main screen. go to the red dlc icon at the far right and pick the data to install. now you should be all set.

Save data will say the car you are in, number of credits you have and how many days have passed. Do NOT delete that file.

*Update*

Being that GT5 and F1 2010 are the only two things on my PS3 I just copied the game saves and reformatted the PS3 hard drive...might have been overkill but after reinstalling GT5, doing the updates, and dowloading the DLC, everything works as it should. Thanks to all who took the time to help!!
