Hi, DLC cars?? I think these are German cars that can mostly be used in Euro races, not the Japanese races. Some however will be able to compete in EXTREME races eg. your BMW V12..I've yet to find one...Have fun.
I've been using mine in the A-Spec seasonals, tuning or detuning (typically tyres) to suit.
Best race so far is with the RX7 TC on the World Circuit Laguna Seca. I don't think I did much to the car apart from a bit more power thanks to a turbo increase (and racing softs).

DLC = Downloadable Content. DTM = Deutsche Touring Meisterschaft.
The DLC cars were the extra ones added by an update last month, for which people could purchase unlock codes from PSN. They are not German touring cars. And the BMW V12 LMR is neither a DLC car nor a DTM car.
Detuning. I've found a good grinding spot at the World Mini Seasonal at the karting track with the CR-Z. Also, you can try to race them in Arcade mode.
