DLC-What is new tracks for

I have a question: If you buy the new tracks (SPA+Karting), what is it for?

You won't have new A-Spec\B-Spec\Special\License events, so the tracks are only useful for online racing. But what happens if not all the people in the room bought the DLC???? Will they be auto-kicked, miss the race or will they be able to drive on it?
 
How do you know we wont have new events? Are you Kaz?!
 
Well, I don't know, but it's not mentioned either... also it would be unfair for people without the DLC, so I think the only type of events that may or may not use the new tracks are online events.
 
Think call of duty and the map packs, you don't have them, you can't play them.
 
TopGear Track wasn't in my tracks but I could still play it online if other friend had it.
 
But its in the game, just because you hadn't won that event, it was still physically there.
 
What if tracks be included with Spec2 update but just not delocked?
 
No pay, no play.
 
I'll be buying so no issue for me, but I expect that if the host has it, then all can drive it.

Could be wrong though.

I think you would be wrong, if someone tried to join then they would probably get a message saying they cant join.

I was thinking the same thing because we can drive tracks generated from track creator without downloading them, so hopefully it works with Spa, and I will be buying the DLC

If you don't buy it, you can't play it.

Yes you could play nurb and tgtt before you unlocked them, but they were free and already in the game.
 
What if DLC content was included in Spec2 and buying DLC is just unlocking it? Stupid?....

I don't think it's dumb to ask this question! And I can see no one is capable of answering yet, only PD knows...

But I would be very annoyed to be playing in a room, and all of a sudden I have to stay watching, just because I don't have the track...

No, I don't. But I'm against DLCs, as it's a big fraud (stopped buying from certain software houses 'cause of it). If they want to make money, then they should work faster on GT6, instead of wasting time on DLCs. I paid for the signature edition (a lot!). I am not going to pay more just for a track! If they release GT6 a year faster, it's better, and everyone is happier.
 
Hot lapping? Spa vote 10/10.
Seasonals: they can open tracks to all just for seasonal events... a good move to present dlc as a demo :D
Online: maybe hosting online at Spa make it available for that race to all.
 
You might be able to sit and watch others race on spa if you don't have the track, the track and all the new race mod cars are most likely going to be downloaded into our HDD as part of SpecII or another update in the coming week.
