I'm starting to see this a lot. The current penalty system really doesn't do anything about this, but I have been nocked off my line so many times with no penalty or ill effects to the other driver. They essentially use your car as a way to keep themselves from going off line and nudge you out. It's a bit frustrating.
It happens almost never to me in B S Rank.
The first time i remember was yesterday in the speedway Gr.3 Race. In the last Corner of 25 laps i got pushed out of line and lost 1 place back to i think 11.
Cant say if it was by intention or just him wanting to win and not beeing good under stress
Well at least i managed surprisingly to win the brand race after that from start to end with a lucky qualy time.
And thanks to the 2 GT-R behind me, for not pushing me out of line when i was struggling the first 3 corners or so .
Indeed when you S its not that bad i was S but C after Tokyo race now struggeling to get back at S because the keeps giving me bas rating because people do stuff like that or using my car as brake.......
So today i will do races at the back of the field to get my S back!
I hate it. I lost a place today again because I was so busy trying to race clean, that this guy just got up on the inside of me and bumped me right out again. Bumped me offline three times and he was able to get ahead and scored just poassed me on the straight away. Right in the side. ******.
Do not let anyone fool you and think that just because you reach the SR S rankings that someone has sprinkled fairy dust and released Unicorn farts that has magically stopped the shoving, ramming and out of control driving by some drivers because S rating has its share of tools as well.
Seems most races there is about two that just try to bulldoze their way as far to the front as possible. Generally though if you can avoid them then the rest of the racers are fun to race with and try to race clean as possible.
What really gets aggravating is that sometimes you deal with the tools dive bombing the first several corners then within the next lap you pass them by as they have blown a corner and 3 laps later they are dive bombing and hitting you again.
PD does need to come up with a solution to the racers that have excessive incidents above what would be average for most racers on the track.
Vantage Race on Dragon Trail: I wasn't practicing and i hated the handling of that streetcar. Who would seriously compete in a sportcar without any Sport Suspension...
I knew i would do bad since i had the slowest qualy time of my group and my optimal time of trainign was also slower than all other cars in my Group and tried to get to the middle by standing clean. That was possible and i reached i think rank 11 but due to my slower pace i was again pushed from behind and then in the tightest corner i got flipped around. It was no hard bump but it costed me all places and i fell back to last. There i did some mistake because i got a bit stressed and then lost more and more time to the second last positioned car. That was frustrating a bit. I was really bad in this car. Just 24 hours before i won the Brand Race.
Brand Race on Brands Hatch: I am with the Mustang Gr.4. Managed to get to startposition 15 after a bad qualy time. Could have done a lot better when practiced more. The Race was all clean until the last lap where i hit my brake just at the edge of my cars Performance and the car in front i think braked like 5 meters earlier. It was just enough to bump him to the outside of the Corner and make him lose 4 places to that I felt very bad and he directly sent a message if i was serious. I was apologizing but i felt not good after that. Even if it was no Intention it shouldnt have happend.
Hopefully i will manage to stay clean next races.
Hopefully no more street car or even worse supercar races. Even my 2013 Mustang handles better on a Track than these so called supercars haha. Gr.3+4 i like the most so far.
