New forum member and have searched but come up empty on the answer to my question.
Do cars break down? Reason I ask is I'm using a souped up Chevrolet SSR to run the 8hr Enduro. I do these in B-spec cause I work, have kids, etc. Anway, had just taken the lead about half way through the race and the car all but shut off. There was over a half tank of fuel and good tires. The car limped around the track between 40mph and 60mph until I did a pit stop, switched to A-spec, ran a lap, pitted and switched back to B-spec. Since then it's been fine but have had to make up over two minutes. I've got 30min. left in the race and still a minute down. We'll see if we can make it up.
Thanks for the answers and apologies if this has been covered before
