Do I need to Gold the championship? (Updated OP)

Ok, I bronzed the Formula GT with 3 golds and 3 abandons. I went back and golded the 3 I missed, and didn't get the Caterham Fireblade prize car. Do you have to gold the championship to get the prize car?

I now have all 6 golds and really don't want to sit through that whole series again.

Nope. as long as you have the championship done then just go back and get the races you missed. I missed 2 and went back and got gold and moved on

Didn't we used to get more cars in previous GT's? Like even for winning an entire series u only get 1 car.. Not one for bronze silver and gold just 1 wether u got all golds or all bronze??

Unless you're going for the "All Gold" trophy, you're fine.
