I was looking at those images captured from the video on the new european GT4 Prologue and I think the car on the background of this selected shot is a BMW E36 (the 3 series model from 92~99)...one looks like 4door black, and then maybe a red 2door coupe????

Am I seeing things? Does anybody agree? I know its not so clear... :confused:


I soooooo hope it is, and I also hope thats the possibility of getting it in the final version of GT4, at least as an used car.
p.s. That would mean more to me than having that Porsche!!!!!!!!! :D
 
Well... there are more cars in those gt4p video's that aren't (yet) in the game.
So what makes you think this bmw will make it? :)

I agree, It might not be in the game. But if you think about it, the car is pretty much an icon!!!!! A car that was a huge best seller for almost a decade + a great track car (E36 M3).

I don't see how can they leave it out of the 500+ cars...

I still think that most cars in these videos will probably make it.
 
Looks pretty big, could maybe be a 5 series too (judging by where the rear wheels are relative to the back door, it appears to have a fairly long wheelbase).

That red car is a 4 door, you can just make out the start of a rear door handle on the very right of the image (I think, could be wrong).

Take it from me, I can garuntee that that is a BMW E36 Sedan.

No it is not a E39 5 Series. I can even tell you that that particular one is a 1997 or 1998 model because of the updated nose (if the owner hasnt installed a new nose)

And by the way, it was produced from 1991-1998 :p

I reallllllllyyyyyyy hope it makes it into the game:D
 
Judging by the looks of things, both appears to be E36 M3's. The front spoiler of the dark car and the wheels on the red one suggests that it might be M3's. Then again, I might be wrong.

Staying with M cars, it would be great if the old sharknose E28 M5 and the E34 M5 (the car used in Ronin) would make it into the game.
 
Sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek: Now I can definetely say I'm happier than ever about the upcoming game. E36 M3 would be just so awesome I don't think anything would matter as much to me...

I can't deny, I WILL be disapointed if they didn't add them, but I know GT4 is going to be amazing no matter what. :D

I couldn't agree more with you.
 
I want to see a 2002 turbo, E24 (635Csi or even better the M version), the E26 (M1, yumm), E28 (M5), the E30 (M3), E31 (850Csi, or an Alpina B12 if I had my way), E34 (540i, or M5), E36 (M3 of course!), E39 (540i or M5), and of course the E46 (328Ci or M3). Basically, any and all BMWs thank you!
 
I concur. Both cars are E36 M3s or very convincing fakes. If you look closely, not only does the sedan have the correct front airdam, it has the correct M door mirrors as well.

The red one has the correct wheels. They are M3s.

I dont see why PD would test these cars and show us and not include them. I believe we all might be in for a lovely surprise but time will hopefully tell us, a bunch of BMW, ferrari's and porsches and lambos are in. :)
 
I hope they make it into the game, i myself have a 1996 BMW 328i cabrio with custom suspension and nice rims, the thing can do 250km/h (150mph) on the motorway and it's not even tuned.

They've tested and sowed plent of cars and not shown them in before. You can't say a car IS in because it's been tested. PD has alreadty said they have tested car for future GT's and not all cars tested will be in GT4. That said with the M3 GTR and the M5 concept being in so far, I don't see why thoes wouldn't be in. But don't take it for granted that every car shown tested will be in GT4.
 
i dont know about the bmw, but whats with the person that looks like an old lady carrying a purse in a white racing outfit?!?!? little help please?
 
The "old" lady is a member of the testing/design team for the polyphony GT4 team.
