Do manufacturers matter when getting tuner parts?

Hello! When I want to update my car with new parts to drift or something then does the manufacturer matter really or no?

like HKS? Toyota TRD? do they really matter which I pick?

Not usually, unless your car can be tuned by the Tuner Village shops. If so, you can add another Turbo (Stage 5 - best IMO) and a New Suspension (called Original, I prefer it to racing but if you drifting I think racing would be better cause it's looser)
