Do race cars need their oil changes more often?

Hey,

I just realized that my Z01 RM was a bit down on power after just 3 or so races, so I tried an oil change (although the oil looked new (bright orange)). Now it has almost 50bhp more!

Is it possible that race cars / race modded cars consume their oil faster than road cars? I think thats pretty much like in real life. So did anyone else notice that?

I noticed that my Gamestop Nascar had 892HP after I overhauled the engine (only 500Cr on DLC cars so why not do it). I immediately went and ran the Extreme Daytona race that just wasn't happening better than 3rd or usually worse and won it. Crazy thing was, I had a 3+ second lead and gap for laps 12-18 and suddenly about midway through lap 19 I noticed them starting to nudge closer and then the last lap *holy crap* they all suddenly had nitrous or something and closed the 3 second gap down to less than 0.1 second as we crossed the finish line. I've actually noticed this behavior in prior races. I *always* lose a bunch of positions in the last lap of Daytona. It's like they all suddenly get some burst of speed from somewhere in the last lap that my B-Spec driver never gets. Thank god I had that gap from (I'm assuming) the HP margin up until that last lap or I still wouldn't have beat it.
