Do some people completely disregard the Feedback search button?

I am going through the feedback requests and can't help it because I see the same requests over and over and over again.

Don't they make any basic search in the feedback requests before posting new ones?? Is this so difficult to keep the feedback section as tidy as possible???

It's better if we make 10-20 bold and clear requests than 1000 BS ones...

Probably just getting their two cents in rather than looking first, but yea totally agree with you. Great idea though.
 
I thought about it too, but then realized that the better ideas will rise to the top, so double posts don't bother me that much. With so many users, it's bound to happen. If they want to waste their votes, let them.
 
Maybe it should be locked at some point.

I think all possible brainstorming has already been recorded so we can only continue with voting only.

I am not saying people are not allowed to have their ideas, but we have to be practicable and sort out these requests in a clear way just in case PD notices them at some point.

Yes but some good ideas might be lost in the bottom too alongside the hundreds of duplicated ones...
 
And half the posts that are not duplicates are meaningless and unrealistic feature requests like

"Plz make every car premium and add more tracks and races and make free downloadable content and fix the shadows and add better cars and sound..."

And people vote for this crap? It would be an embarrassment if PD were shown half of these requests.

That's why they need to be locked, compacted/organised and let the voting continue until we are able to show PD specific and solid requests which might have an impact.
 
The title has been changed and offending posts deleted/edited. Now please keep the discussion on the topic at hand and not about mental handicaps, thanks.
 
I think there should be a feedback rule that the UK government uses for its public created polls/petitions, titles should contain a verb. If it doesn't have a verb in it then it's a bad title.
 
If you see duplicates, please use the "Report" button next to each entry and it will be taken care of. I'll run through the reports about once a day and take care of them (just deleted about 140 "ideas" a few minutes ago).
 
I suspect that people are blind to the search button in the feedback section for the same reasons they are blind to the search button in the forums, lazyness,vanity,stupidity and inexperience.
