Do the Collectors Edition DLC Car Codes Expire?

I bought the collector's edition back in November though I still haven't opened it and probably won't for a while. The Gamestop pre-order DLC code that came with it has an expiry of the end of this year. Does the CE DLC code have such a restriction as well?

Yes, it expires at the end of 2013 I believe.

I don't think you can trade the CE cars unless he gives you the code. For that, you might have to gift him something (or somethings) special.

Yeah I know you can't trade the car once the code has been redeemed, I'm down to gift a rares to get those codes.
As long as they are US based
