do you guys race on every single race in the Beginner and THEN go to amature? or do u just skip all over the place??i just use my 3000GT to race in the beginner's GT championship and get an easy 10,000 and then work on buying cars for the other races in the beginner's. Anyways, just a thought.:)

I pretty much went in order... I skipped a few of the car-specific races (like the Audi TT Tourist Trophy) and went back to them, but otherwise, I pretty much went went the way PD structured it.

I did some early Amateur series before I finished Beginner, but not many. I finished all of Amateur before I moved on to Professional, though.

I jumped around a lot because I was in need for money the first time. If you are just beginning to play GT3 for the first time, I suggest you stay at the Beginner level.:D

You would have to waste a lot of time if you wanted to do all of Beginner before you started Amateur.

Just think about it. The absolute minimum number of cars you need to complete Beginner League is 10:

MR Challenge
Audi TT race
Mercedes race
Altezza Race
Vitz race
Evolution race
Beetle race
Lightweight Cup
80's Cup
Stars & Stripes

You need a separate car for every one of those races, and the Vitz, Lightweight and 80's races are the only ones that you can use Beginner prize cars for. And if you want to get by with just 10 cars, you need to be really lame and use the Acura Integra for the 80's Cup and the Type-R Meeting (or else pay for an NSX to use for MR & Type-R).

So, you need to buy at least 7 cars, and you don't make much money in the Beginner League. Unless you start getting free cars from license gold, it's going to take you forever.

It is much more practical to use one car and leave Beginner Leage pretty early and do at least a few races that will get you cash. Otherwise you'll be doing the same Beginner races over and over.

jumed around all over the place for me, got the S Licence, 1100HP viper run the "Like the Wind" race picked up the 787b and that was that

I also jumped around between Beginner and Amateur. I skipped some of the car-specific races and moved on to Amateur League. I did them later, though. When I start a game in GT3, the first thing I do is buy a car, get every license, and then do the races.

The Viper Concept you get from S License can't get 1100 hp. It has a max of 980 hp fully modified with an oil change if you haven't gone 378 mi yet.

The Viper GTS, fully modified, broken in with an oil change has 1110 hp only when the milage is between 189 mi. and 504 mi. It is not winnable and it costs 78,680cr.

On top of that, it's about 400,000cr to fully upgrade the Viper, so that's not something you can do early in the game unless you also did the TT's first and sold the Esperante, which would be a complete waste of money if you really wanted to use the 787B.

i did some enduros, so beginner and got a viper to win the 787B, then i won a gt-1 road car, and i used that to win the PD cup (not sure if that is the right one im thinking about) to win the f094/s

I've been skipping, but that was because I accidently saved over my game. I've been trying to get done with most of the one make races. But before I saved over the old game, I pretty much finished Beginner first and then went onto Amateur. But I got the rally done, so I would get to 50% and get the C5R.

On my very first game save I pretty much did everything in order.

But this time I'm just racing what I feel like, going back and forth. It all depends on which car I feel like taking out onto the track. If I want to have a slow but challenging race then I'll use a stock car in beginner or amature.

I've skipped all over the place. I still have not completed any of the ranks such as beginner yet I'm just over 80% done. I've been fighting that last time trial track complex string. I only need to pick up .7 of bloody sec!

You win the Vitz, you win the Slyvia K's (1800cc) which can do the 80's cup race bone stock(not with me driving it though, cant frking beat the the Teurino Shegeno Version on seattle, close, but not close enough[.348 seconds]). You win 2 light weights (4wd and something else). You can use the integra for the American and Type R. And you can always do the SS or Miata enduro for cash. Once each and you can make it easy.

Goumindong:

Do you see where I already said all of that? I mean, you quoted my whole post, you probably saw where I said which cars you can win.

I suppose I accidentally said you can be lame and enter the Integra in the 80's cup, but I meant to say Stars & Stripes. The Integra can't enter the 80's cup, but it can enter the Stars & Stripes, which is pretty ridiculous.

I always start a new game (#7 now) by getting all licences, then with a 1.6 MX5,win Clubman, sell the prize car, turbo the MX5, and then the wipe the floor in 80's, buy an Evo, win 4wd, tune it, buy dirt tyres, go to Rally win the Xsara do FF, win all the rally cars until bored then, go and get the cars I missed, like the Toms Chaser just cause I never had one before.
Also make sure you have at least a second sim card so you don't pay twice for the mods:)

Ouch! :banghead: How far are you in the game? If you already got the oen from the Like the Wind race and 75% complete, if you got a friend with a GameShark you can use it and buy a new one for like 5 credits.
