I'm at the end of my third, a probably final, run of GT3. I have only the Endurance races and the Formula GT race to run and I have been using cars at, or below, the performance level of the AI cars. This makes for tight net races and so drafting plays an important role. So does bump drafting.

Bump drafting is receiving a "bump" from a car behind you in order to pick up a lot of speed. I do this a lot, about every chance I get. It takes some talent to keep a watchful eye on the road ahead, and what is coming up behind you, but this technique is very helpful at maintaining a lead.

So, do you guys bump draft too?

Yeah, anytime I'm close to or in the pack I tend to watch the rearview mirror and try to get bumped every now and again. Half the time its unintentional, and I've been spun out more than once by an AI car who "bumped" me a little too hard. I don't think of it as so much of a tactic for quicker acceleration as I think of it as stopping the car behind me from overtaking me.

sometimes, when my legs are shorter than he field, but generally not.
usually on the test track if i am going to do it...

I do it every now and then. Sometimes it's by accident and sometimes it is intentional. I hope, however, that GT4 won't allow this (obviously, the AI cars should have enough sense to not just ram right into you, but instead go around). If there is any one thing that absolutely drives me crazy about GT3, it is the horrendous AI. Hopefully GT4 will be much improved.

I hope there isn't a more-improved version of the pro vitz AI.

Since bump drafting is the first thing that will disqualify a lap submitted for OLR competitions involving AI races, no I don't do it.

Actually i think they should keep the sunday and clubman cup as they are because it makes it a good challenge to start then improve the rest of the game.

I think you've posted on trhe wrong therad there m8.

I don't bump draft. Not even on the Test Course. If I do, it is on accident because I couldn't get around the car quick enough. I like to race them clean, so I don't hit them in the back, although they hit me sometimes, and I don't want them to.
