Do you get miles from online free mode?

Hey people...I have some cars with 0.0 miles that I really want to try out but i'm afraid if I do,the miles on the car will go up and I might want to trade the cars in the future...so does anyone know if free mode online will add up the miles on the car? thanks..
 
Incorrect sir!!! The only time your car gets miles online is when you're in a race. Though if you don't go into a race and just free drive like most people do then you won't gain miles.

Hmm if I take a brand new car and am running it online in the free mode before the race i get miles on it, and damage to chassis if cracking a wall.

You can get damage. It won't rank up the miles on the car though. I advise you to search more into before trying to say you do get miles in free drive in online. Its only when you race online that it will add miles.

So THAT is how it works! I was a little lost as to why some of the cars I took online stayed at 0 and other didn't.

No need to sound like a smartass. Pretty sure thats why this website exist. I knew I was getting damage but did not know I didn't get miles.

WOW! that is bad info. Not true at all. I bought the HPA Audi and did free run and online racing at stage 7. Still has 0miles but gained horsepower like normally driving it would. 714hp to 727 after driving online.
 
im going to have to get myself online...sorry for the noob q but what is the free drive mode? please tell me its like a free roam like thing.
