Do you?

And no, I do not mean one of those little pink jobbies with the lock and key that always surface in movies when parents "are putting away laundry".

I think they are a good idea. It lets you vent about stuff other people may find stupid and also lets you document events that may seem trivial, but when recalled years later, mean something.

I actually have several. . . I have lot a few and found to keep a few around so you don't forget your past. . .

I don'ty but I have always wanted to I just can't get around to starting one.

I used to a long time ago. When I started in my I.D. major I began a note book of important things about myself I should remember. I've had to do this because the nature of this major forces me to or else I will struggle to grasp it's many details.

I wrote voluminously for years. Now it is more sporadic, and less frequent due to time.

The last time I moved I read some of my first notebooks before I put those boxes away. That was a hoot. But I'll probably drag them with me forever even though the only time I even see them is whem i move and they get taken out of the attic for transport.

The last time I kept a journal was when my son was born. Every tiime everyone was sleeping I'd record the experiences and thoughts I had while becoming a dad. It's a way of recording your life, like pictures but different.

I started a journal in my 1st year at university. Without it I would have forgotten 90% of my experience there. My only regret is not starting one sooner, as memories of highschool and the people I met there are fading fast.

I used to have one some three years back.
About 2-3 months into the year I eventually stopped writing and now I don't keep any journals or diaries (sp?).

If I can't remember it on my own chances are the **** wasn't worth remembering.

i dont like writing... no i hate writing. If i could have a vioce activated diary then it be ok. I could maybe type one but its not the same.

I would prefere a *.txt diary than a little book, i tunno why.

I don't HATE writing, I just don't like to do it in my spare time. But a diary is a good idea, especially for a high schooler

I tried it hear and there for a year, but wound up not keeping up with it. I rambled too much, and left the good parts out anyhow.

Ditto. I've tried it, but it was mostly gibberish, and I absolutely hate writing more than anything in the world – If a computer could just read my thoughts and type them out, that'd be great, but writing is an absolute PITA for me.

I am a blogger.

It is funny that my particpations in forums for the last 5 years has also been an effective way for me to document those years.

Yeah, I have one, too and I like writing in it, though I don't have the time to write in it frequently. But it's okay. At least once a week.

I've made a number of attempts to write a journal/diary, starting Jan 1, and invariably give it away late Feb/Mar because I can't be bothered.

I keep a running log, but that's more a spreadsheet than a diary, and there's no real notes in there.

Nope, I think its cool but I could never stay with it.

Only At My DA Account.
Im Too Lazy To Keep A Papper One.

I did once, but it was for an English assignment/requirement. The English professor wanted to read about our lives, apparently.

it would be a great way to remeber things though like i stated above i just absoulutly hate writing

I'm in high school and forget most things that happen so I probably should keep one.

I have an online journal, which is not only a way for me to keep track of what's going on in my life, but also for some of my close friends to be updated, as well! There are just a handful of people who have access to it, plus if I don't want anyone to read certain entries, I can block everyone from those entries.

i used to write diary.. but i usualy ends up in writing about something completely diferent.

I used to keep one back in high school, but stopped when I started college. I've been wanting to start up again, but haven't found the time.

Not a journal per se'. I have a couple of bound notebooks that I write down chord progressions, and song ideas in.
All I need now is a more portable guitar, so that I can do more writing.
