I like everything, but I like that in gt5 you could change the background picture but in saying that I'm on the fence. Truth is I just love to race. Ye ah:cool:

GT6 physics still aren't right, but they are a massive step on from GT5.

I agree.

I rented and started playing GT6 last weekend. After playing all weekend I posted a review stating how much more I like GT6 than GT5. By a longshot. Being able to bring standards to photo travel AND the ability to purchase standards from the dealership put GT6 miles ahead of GT5 IMO. There are many features and changes that make GT6 better than GT5. They are all in my review.

- More Customization
...

@diegorborges I agree with all your points and also this one but there is something odd about the customization. People have mentioned on here that some mods/aero kits have gone missing in GT6 that were in GT5 (Gallardo? Or was it something else?). I almost wonder if PD took an early version of the GT5 code to build GT6 from rather than start fresh or even start from GT5 in its patched state. There's also the swapped front/rear suspension settings... Really strange.

(Also OP, I think this belongs in the GT6 Reviews & Feedback section)

Still too early to tell, but it's a yes! It's definitely a step forward. Now, I didn't pick up my copy until Feb. 2, so I started with 1.04 and didn't start with all the little issues everyone else had in the beginnings, which was fortunate because, I guess, I would have bashed it for not being GT5 too?!
I love the GT5 grind and now have found the grind in GT6 doing the Challenge races...BIG money with 200%. GT6 has also kind of forced me to do more online because of the low amount of single player content and no issue to date with online play (yet).
Car tuning is pretty spot on and even the smallest adjustment is seen and felt on the next run, good & bad (went full RIG+DFGT, half way through GT5...no more stand. Yes there are better more expensive wheel's, but I love how I can adjust on the fly when road conditions change; rain. Building another soon).
The number one issue/complaint is the ability NOT to be able to reset to default or copy settings :banghead:

No. I cant imagine ever going back to GT5 with the improvements in GT6's physics.....I just wish they would add the endurance races back into 6.
Endurance races with better AI that don't run the tank dry would be a welcome change.

I'll go back to GT5 for the F1 Ferraris and the beautiful photo locations.

Other than that, driving in GT6 just feels much better than GT5 especially with the new suspension physics.

GT5 is a more complete game than GT6, but neither come close to being a great driving simulator, and neither can touch GT4 overall. There was a time when bad AI and bumper car racing could be forgiven. That time is long gone.

at least they both can do donuts, unlike GT4 :p

GT5 is a much better game than GT6. However, the physics at launch were so numb that I didn't enjoy it then, after several updates they improved slightly. Now we have the reverse situation, GT6 launches with great physics but there's nothing to the actual game, & on top of that it's riddled with bugs.

GT5 with GT6's physics would be awesome!

I would say that the physics in GT6 beats the GT5 physics by miles. The new tracks are a joy to drive aswell, and the graphics look beautiful. But sadly, GT5 beats GT6 in any other point.
Examples such as Events, career mode, and the online is way better in GT5. The mainpoint why the online is better in GT5, is simple. Shuffle racing!

I had high hopes for GT6, but sadly it falls apart in many ways.

In terms of physics GT6 is definitely a step forwards. But I found GT5 much more challenging in terms of getting trophies. Vettel Challenge in GT6 is a joke compared to GT5.

If you play GT6 long enough you'll get the platinum. No real effort needed just drive.

See my issue is this, Ive already played GT6 from beginning to end 3 times now.. GT5 I still have things I could finish.. And have only played the game through 1 time.. ONCE... where as GT6, you race the game for 2 days, and your literally out of content...sure you can race online but online racing isn't for everyone, and was most definitely not the reason I Purchased GT6.

I Purchased GT6 because it was Supposed to have an improved course creator and improved B-spec.. Hell there aren't even options for Arcade races like GT5 had... Cant even turn on Tire wear for Pete's sake.

The course creator adds so much replay value too the GT games that its mind blowing, that it was even omitted in the first place.
