My boss is awsome. He's always nice. I come in to work and he walks by and says "Hey Ryan how was school?". He bought me lunch once(I don't expect him to). Really, he's a cool guy. However, the owner of the place, the Fusz Jr, can be quite ignorant. He walks up to me as I'm cleaning a car, doesn't even say "hi", points to something on the car and says "You need to fix this". He has also told me twice that the speedlimit in the parking lot is 5mph(yet his dad, Fusz Sr, regularly does 20+ in his Buick, and everyone else at the place drives reasonably fast(10-15). Couple of days back me, the 2 guys I work with, and some helper kids(we had our big used car sale so kids help out) were standing in the cleaning bay waiting for a car to clean up and Fusz walks by and says "You guys working today?" We're like "Yes" And he's like "Well get a shammy and do something!" and storms off. Yet he doesn't tell the salesmen who are doing completely nothing to work or anything. And you know what's funny? People are scared of Fusz Jr. I'm not. I mean I won't try to get fired or anything, but he's so phony with his $500 Million and acting like he cares about the people that work for him(that's why he witheld my dad's(and others) vacation pay til after the strike is settled) that it's hard for me to be nice to him. One of my other bosses, the service manager, is nice most of the time but when he gets stressed he's quite annoying. Since the strike, he does some work at the Nissan building. He doesn't have any tools, so he took most of ours, our Fusz license plates and frames, all of our plate screws, and some other stuff. I asked him "What are we supposed to use?" and he's like "Well, all of the new cars have plates so what's your problem?" I said "Well, they break, we get dealer trades, we need some supplies" He's like "Well you'll have to find them on your own". So then on a Saturday he wasn't working and I was quite tired of rummaging around the shop looking for stuff, I drove a 3 over to the Nissan building, walked through the place to the service drive through, and took our supplies back, leaving him 2 plates and 4 frames and some other stuff that wasn't ours. On Monday he sends a secretary that was working with him(yeah, doing mechanical stuff, lol) over to take the stuff and she started yelling and all this and said "Well we could let you put the plates on the cars" I said "Good, I'll do it!" She left in a hurry. I get a page to call a number. When I call it, it's the service manager and he's like "You know Ryan, we need those plates and tools" I said "As do we" He's like "you stole them from us" I said "Where did you steal them from?" He's like "well, we need the stuff and I run these places and you don't need to do that, don't take it personal", and hung up. Lol.
