Do you "lol"?

Do you guys actually laugh out loud when you type "lol"? Or do you guys laugh when you read something funny on AIM from your friends? I never actually laugh out loud, but when I read something really funny I tend to have a smile on my face for the next couple of minutes... :D
 
usually, I type "lol" when something strikes me as funny. it usually gets a snicker from myself, and I go on...
 
Occasionally something will hit me at just the right monent and I'll crack up. When I'm at work I hush it and end up just kinda bouncing in my chair.

Heh, I remember reading a thread (cluttered with Jimmy posts) and I was having trouble stopping myself from cracking up. Very embarrasing.

LOL....hehe I used to just type hehe but when I really have to much joy juice or I'm crackin up big time I can give a hearty ROTFLMAO usualy thats all I write before I become unconciouse.

I only use "lol" if I'm talking to someone, and they say something which I know they think is funny, but I think it's retarted, and I don't know what else to say without saying something rude.

So occasionally I "lol," but usually I just SIITP.:rolleyes:
 
But if you're rolling on the floor it is rather difficult to type, wouldn't you agree. Type a simple sentence while simultaneously rolling on the floor and laughing.

I use the :lol: smilie whenever something's funny and makes me smile. I'm right up there with Klos on the "lol" thing that you seem to find splattered all over online language. It's like people have forgotten to type "Ha ha", which is the established way of acknowledging humour.

Anyway, i usually just laugh sometimes...sitting there on my chair, laughing...

If I truly laugh out loud, you are sure to get a response from me. But "LOL" nor "707" will not be part of it.
 
I always think about this! I know that whenever I type 'lol' I'm usually laughing out loud (or at least smiling). Same for the tounge smilies... I do the tounge thing way too often in real life. :)
