Do you pay good money for junk?

If you've bought action figures (for yourself as an adult) or any kind of figurine you might qualify. <- bobble head dolls count

Do you own crap like glass dolphins or little toy cars with surf boards on them?

Do you buy decorative candles or go shopping at pier one or bed bath and beyond a lot?

Do a lot of shopping on ebay?

There is no one thing that incriminates you but if you look around your house or apartment and see nothing but little peices of worthless plastic everywhere - you're who I'm talking to.

What kind of junk do you pay good money for?
 
I spent alteast $50 on Pocket Monsters, what a waste. I realize this now. I used to spend $100's on toys, but recently I haven't bought a toy for the past year or so. :)
 
my bro an i spent over $1000 on star wars cards an pokemon cards... Whta a mistake... I stopped 6 years ago....
 
I got a haircut today...which I consider money well spent. Other than that toys dont turn my crank too much anymore, especially when you have to pay for them
 
Do scale model cars count? I've shell out good money for some of that stuff. I guess most normal people might consider $50-100 a lot of money for 'junk like that that'.

Mrs. ///M collects decorative tea pots. That kind of 'junk' gets expensive too.

It depends on how you handle it. If it's just tea pots and model cars that's really a hobby and not junk. If lots of different little things like that then it counts as junk in my book.
 
Junk.. Hmm.. No, almost never. I'm not a collector.

I have a difficult time already getting rid of all junk things I get from relatives and friends for presents..

I like a clean interior with very little decoration, dark and strong colors, but stuff like Mspecs wife collects are banned from my apartment.

Hmmm. I've spent $0 (people gave me my initial starter cards) on Magic cards, pokemon cards, and star wars cards. By trading and having people give me stuff I eventually had quite a large collection. When I saw that they were going out of style I sold or traded them for things I wanted. The results? I got over $200 an N64 2 games 2 controllers, 4 playstation games, a gameboy. Not bad considering I didn't spend a penny :D
 
The only thing I do that could be considered in this category is purchasing F1 merchandise. I love some of the stuff, but the shelf life is very short.
 
I used to collect comic books, but I never colleceted any titles that I didn't actually read for enjoyment of the story and art. Other than that, no, I don't, and neither does my wife. We are a little more indulgent of the kids (or mainly, my wife is, and I indulge her in that indulgence). She buys them a lot of toys that she finds cute or that they enjoy collecting. They probably have a slightly embarrassing amount of Fashion Polly and Build-a-bear stuff in their rooms.

We do buy a lot of Legos, but the whole family enjoys playing with them, and we actively play with them regularly.
 
I used to buy pogs but that was stupid so I won them instead. Must've got two complete series and containers aswell. I only relised later that I was just wasting my time :dunce:
 
Several unopened Honda Civics, an Enzo, a Murcielago, special-edition Viper and Corvette, each in correspondingly badged plastic cases, an Esprit, a Ferrari P4, a 350Z, a Celica, an R33, a Stratos, an SL500, and a Saleen S7.

Hot Wheels are awesome.
My mom tells stories about how I carried a bunch of them around when I was a baby.
 
I've got a un-opened in past 2 years Porsche Boxter Hot Wheels model.
