Does anyone remember the "robot" peripheral for the NES that would spin tops and place them on the concave buttons of the NES controller for a game where you had to raise and lower columns to allow a sleepwalking character to progress through levels? What was the name of the game and peripheral?

Note: I created this post because I didn't find any threads quite like this. If one exists, please direct me to it. This thread could serve as a Q&A for some of the more obscure topics regarding PC & Console gaming.

R.O.B. (Robotic Operating Buddy)

He's real! I (kind of) knew it! Do you know what the game was? Or if R.O.B. was used for other games?

R.O.B worked for Gyromite and Stack-Up. He is fairly uncommon and a bit of a collector's piece, too! Wish I had one!

I believe he was released with the first NES (8bit) as a combo around 1985 or 1986. A buddy of mine got ROB for christmas, I played Gyromite and it was cool but didn't compare to the hours of playing Mario Bros.

Fixed the link, here's ROB in all of his gray plastic glory. I assume he is fully sentient and capable of emotions, as well.
