I don't know if there has been a thread such as this, nor do I know where I should put it. I figured right here in the general discussions area would be fine. I'll start it off with a few of my own. Keep in mind that this thread is primarily referring to online play.

Do you think it is fair of me to use the RM and DLC TC cars in order to combat the LFA, NSX, GT, and RGT spammers? I have a Roadster TC on SS tires that rockets around like it's on RS in the 525 PP bracket. 165 MPH top speed without draft (180 on gears for drafting) and ideal gear ratios except for the only 1st gear corner.

Do you think it is fair of me to combat dive bombers by getting beside someone and leaning on them in the next corner to get my spot back? I don't ram, but rather force them to get off the throttle or test their luck with half their car on the grass.

Do you think it is fair of me to sandbag until the last half of the Nordschleife straight to prevent myself from being re-overtaken before the final esses?

Joke time: Do you think it is fair of me to put horn 241 on my car and blare it constantly at people until they mis shift or mess up from being annoyed?

Don't be afraid to ask your questions and discuss about previous ones!

This all seems fine to me, except I have no clue which horn 241 is.

Not really, as that would be deliberate & malicious contact. The best way to deal with dive bombers is to brake slightly early, let them out-brake themselves & go flying off track, & then calmly overtake them. Makes me giggle everytime I do it, they're so dumb, HA-ha!

It's fair in my opinion, although some would frown upon it I'm sure. It's also done going into & out of the bus stop on Daytona road on the last lap, I've been known to do it on occasion myself. 👍

I believe that is the Lamborghini Miura horn.

I call that tactics, so yes, it is fair.

👍 That is perfect advice using the crossover move. Just because they divebomb doesn't mean that you can't get your spot back cleanly. Don't change from a clean driver to a dirty one simply because of how someone else races you. Stick to your style and don't drive angry!

If a car is at 500PP, it should match other 500PP cars, whether they are street cars or race cars. (Please don't bring up negative PP cars)

If a lobby is street cars only or race cars only, then that's fine. But if a lobby allows both to race with each other, then be my guest and use an RM or TC to combat rammers.

Also, a more effective horn is the Jay Leno Tank Car horn, although I can't remember the number for it. I think it is 112, but I might be wrong.

Any car that fits the regs allowed by the host is fair. However, your odds of winning with a race car in the 525PP bracket are pretty slim.

Since when is driving like a d-bag a good idea? If you engage in this type of "tit for tat" driving, expect it in return.

It's not sandbagging, it's strategy.

Fair isn't the question. Again, if you want to engage in annoying behaviour, expect others to return the favour, only the other guy's idea of annoying behaviour might be to run you off the road and the end of the back straight at the Nurb. If you're ok with that, continue blaring your horn like a 10 year old.

There you go...

That sums it up quite nicely.
