Here's a spot quiz for you.
I was thinking the other night of what a pain in the arse it's been in GT3 lately going through the longer Professional races, and the Enduros, plus a couple of time trials, just to get to that magical 100% completed.
Looking back to the original GT, I felt under no obligation to complete all the races. I built what I want, when I wanted and raced against whoever I wanted. Eventually I just happened to complete all the races, but it was never really a big motivation in how I raced.
It was much the same in GT2 until I got to about 90%, then I decided to go through and clean up all the one make series. I got to 98.6% or whatever the figure was, and found out I had actually finished the game.
In GT3, though, the percentage completion seems a much bigger aspect of the game. Everything I've done in the game in the last 5-6 weeks (yeah yeah, some of us have jobs and partners) has been aimed at finishing the game.
I was wondering if others had had the same experience. I don't know if it's a good or bad thing, I'd be interested in people's comments.
