ok, ive just had a thought. when gt3 came out it was on the ps2 right? well i think sony released gt3 on ps2 so people who loved gt3 would ahve to buy a ps2 to play gt3, thus increasing the number of ps2 sales. it wil be the same with gt4 and whit gt5 which should be on the ps3. what do you guys think?
 
well no,i want gt4 on ps2 but GT5? ive heard there wont be another gt excpet gt4,and u will be able to upgrade your game with cars and tracks but no gt5,it was a rumor though
 
Unless you mean GT2, this does not make any sence.

and where did you here all this??? Upgrade cars tracks what?? I heard GT4 will not use the harddrive so how could you upgrade and dl?? and I heard in many places including Mr. GT himself in an interview that GT4 is the last GT for the PS2 and that GT5 will be on PS3, how could they not make another GT theres always room for improvement such as graphics and 3d crowd etc.. and GT is a huge seller so why wouldnt PD or Sony make anymore sounds kinda dumb to me but of course belive what you want but I HIGHLY doubt this will be the last GT...
 
KY has hinted at GT5 in recent intervews, he has said things along the lines of the next game will be harder to tell the ifference between the game and reality, stuff like that. GT4 may have downloadble extras now but it wasn't originally in the game plan but due to the delay it has become a possibilty but nothing has confimed this.
 
Why stop making an excellent series if you can make piles of money? New Gran Turismos will be coming out on Sony consoles for years to come, since it represents the pinnacle of racing sims and nobody has come close to stealing the top spot form PD yet. And GT will always be Sony exclusive, since it is a very profitible franchise, and it boosts console sales for Sony.

I think he meant people who seen the GT3 commericals or after having playing GT2 on their PSONE they want the new updated Gran Turismo game.. which is the GT3 that was only avalible for the PS2. So if they didnt have PS2 then they will have to buy the PS2 to play GT3. That is what he meant. Of course sony didnt publish the game for other consoles. Why would they :D

how can you love something you haven't played. WEll then again people marry before having sex ;) . What kinda person doesn't own a PS2 and ends up on this forum :confused:
 
please reread my post... i said if they had psone gt2 and loved it.. saw GT3 on commerical or heard about it from friends and picture so they have to buy a ps2 to play GT3.

Oh yeah... this site has GT1 and GT2 also which is on PSone platform so yeah there is a reason to be here without ps2..

People who choose Xbox over PS2 just dont have enough money to own both. It wasn't a serieous question about not owning a PS2.

I think both consoles are great tbh, Ill play GT4 on my PS2 and Halo 2 on my Xbox :D :D :D, oh oh and Half life2 and doom 3 on ma pc :D weeee!!! Next year is gonna be incredible games wise.
