do you use a game shark with gt1?

Waaay back when on the original GT1 I used a game shark. It allowed you to "swap" parts from cars and put them in other cars.

I had a little TVR with Viper wheels. Yes, the wheels stuck out of the fenders about 4-5 inches. Mitsu GTO twin turbo engine.
Please forgive me this was many years ago. If I remember correctly it ended up with 940 HP but weighted only 890 kg? The power was more then it's weight, remember that much.
Also- Had a Honda Del Sol RM which could do 300mph on the test track. Nearly impossible to handle.

Of course- FTO LM. Just think of this car with over 1000 hp!

My brother told me about how him and a friend at work (hospital) would race each other, so one day they both brought in their memory cards.
The FTO LM (game shark) would occasionally "bog" down at the start, because the turbo lag was extremely severe.
My bro's friend got the early jump into the lead. He was laughing until he heard my bro's FTO engine getting "wound up" to OMG speed.
About the time he said "what the heck is that?" my brothers FTO was going pass his at nearly twice his speed.


Anyone else ever use a game shark on gt1?

No, I don't own a Gameshark, so no. I should have got one, though.

I do. Hybridding is a little more difficult in GT1 than it is in GT2, but you can swap parts. And have some really tricked out cars.

I use the gameshark to race on different tracks and stuff. Like I switch many races to race at Clubman Stage Route 5 or Special Stage Route 11, and heck sometimes even Grand Valley Speedway, because those are the best tracks in the game.
