I've had the Ford Mark IV for a while and never drove it. Then I recently got the 330 p4. Took it for a drive and was shocked at how bad it handled high speed turns(me oversteering). Did I just waste 20 million? So I hope the Ford was not the same but it kinda was, not as bad though. So I decided to give them a fair shot.
I did the same thing to both cars new:
1 oil change no more break in
Full aero
Race soft tires
Ford Mark IV
4 speed
600pp
Ferrari 330 p4
5 speed trans
463 hp
594pp
The Ford was more stable at high speed coming to a low speed corner. Although the Ferrari was looser into the corners it manage a quicker lap.
The test was done on Tokyo in the supercar festival with no aids but abs-1.
If your spending the money, you have to decide loose/faster or stable/slower. Now these cars are not tuned so those results could make either car have an advantage. And really these cars are there for nostalgia. Neither are faster than any Lmp car. So if your spending the Cr on one. Thats what there good for nostalgia. This is only my opinion though.
