I'll bet you these'll be illegal to ride in 50 states.

and who would want to ride these at speed, anyway. skareee....though you know some dumb jackass is gonna do it, wreck it, and get himself killed.

Pretty dangerous to ride this thing
Is there any video out there showing how it corner?
it looks like it only able to drive straight

Jesus. Whos got the balls to try and see the top speed on this thing. I'm pretty sure it won't be pleasant at all for that thing to fall on you.

Aw come on.. Rollie free went 150 mph on a Vincent Black lightning in 1948 -wearing a swimming cap and swim trunks, lying prone on his bike.

That's totally safe for street driving!

Stick plates on it and it's probably good to go, it's got headlights, indicators and everything else. The Viper engine was built to meet US emissions, I don't see what law this would break.

It wont be in New York, thats for sure, you cant even ride mopeds with out paying twice the cost of the former.

Something costing more for whatever reason doesn't make it not legal, just more expensive.

The unwritten law of SANITY!

But its good that crazy things are still getting the go ahead in a too sensible world!

oh and surely that engine gets really hot between your legs!...... thats gonna burn! :nervous:

Heh, someone who wants 500hp between their legs is obviously making up for something one way or another.

....Uh, I hear otherwise:

This morning, a weblog post indicated Chrysler had approved production of the Dodge Tomahawk motorcycle — a concept vehicle that was previewed almost two years ago as a design study at the Detroit auto show. While many enthusiasts would surely love to see the Viper-powered bike produced, it's unlikely the Tomahawk will ever be anything more than a concept. "There has been no decision to produce the Dodge Tomahawk," Chrysler design spokesman Sam Locricchio told Leftlane News. "The vehicle remains a design exercise to underscore — in an extreme fashion — the performance elements that make up the Dodge brand," Mr. Locricchio said. "[The Tomahawk is] purely a concept to date." Upon further research, it seems the weblog that started the Tomahawk rumor was citing outdated information from shortly after the concept's debut.

Its probably better that they aren't going to build it. Too dangerous, too much of a liability for DCX...

But still, imagine 'Knight Rider' doing 500kmph down a freeway on a black one of these...

but surely if you could afford the tomahawk then you could afford that "small" cost? :sly:
i dont know im not sure i would want one it kinda shouts:
"hey look at me im having a mid life crisis and i got a manhood issue!"
i understand this and im 14 :dopey:
im not entirely sure that a good thing either :ouch:

That's a shame. But really, anyone who rides a sport bike of any kind is taking their life in their hands. It seems to me that any bike that can do wheelies on demand is a bit much. Maybe that's because I get agoraphobic at high speeds, but how safe is a street car that can pop it's front wheels on demand?

In my opinion, Dodge should build it. Not because it stands for "the performance elements that make up the Dodge brand" -- which, V10 aside, I can't see any of -- but because it's so different from anything else Dodge does. What Bike? indeed. This and the ME412 should be built. I love left field stuff like that.

The wheels tilt. If you were to look at the bike from the front, the wheels would look like this // mid corner.

good point. i saw a video of this thing in action, try looking on youtube and then post it in, sorry i cant remember if it was youtube for sure.
