Dodge Viper SRT-10 Coupe (Tuned)

(I don't know if this is the right section)

I bought a Dodge Viper a while ago and tuned it to 750bhp and it could go at least 200mph but know after winning 3 million in seasonal events I decided to tune the car more and got the Dodge Viper up to 1011bhp but after all this tuning the car can now only go 190mph. Why does this happen?

The six speed transmission has a short gear ratio, buy the fully adjustable one and you can change the overall ratio for more top speed.

Install the fully adjustable gearbox, go to your settings menu, in the transmission settings and change the top-speed.

This, and keep in mind the top speed reading is inaccurate so you have to set it much higher than the speed you actually want.

oh thanks again

according to the adjustable gearbox my top speed is 273mph

That is what theoretically the transmission can pull you up to, but doesn't nesessarily mean you have the power or the aerodynamics to do so.Realistically, I think your viper can do about 235-240 MPH max.

If you cannot reach the speed the transmission shows you, you need to lower the aerodynamics and even then it's not really possible to drive to the highest speed. Don't forget that the acceleration gets worse the higher you set the top speed.

ok i'm gonna go to the ssr7 and see what I can get

EDIT: I got 235mph so I'm going to mess around with the aerodynamics and see whats the highest i can get

EDIT: I changed the aerodynamics and it only went 233mph

You need to lower the aero settings, the lower they are, the lower the wind resistance, but that will also have a negative effect on the handling. I find over 230 mph in a Viper pretty good. ;)
