When u r checking your times for a race if you press "X" u get "CANCEL" and "DELEATE", BUT if you also press "R1" with "X" you get "ENTRY CODE" and there are 3 rows with numbers. What is that 4?????????????

I remember someone talking about that before. You might want to search the forums for it to see what they said:

http://forums.gtplanet.net/search.php

I think someone said something about being able to retrive a code and enter it on another console. That way you could share times or something. But the interface didn't work ... they didn't translate it or just didn't finish programming it. Don't take my word for that, I'm just repeating a rumor.

Hmmm...never seen it before. I'll have to try it and see what it is.

BTW nice 200sx

yah, what is this all about. explain it a little better. what do u mean by "checking your times for a race". is this after you complete a race? or in free run on arcade?

I'm sorry, that's the most hideous Nissan I've seen in a loooong time. How could anyone do that to their car? And 200SX hey, are you in australia or europe LEBSTA?

I MEAN SaleenASL WHEN U CHECK THE TIMES THAT U HAVE DONE 4 THE LICENCE TEST. THE RECORDS AREA. I DON'T KNOW IF IT WORKS IN THE OTHER AERAS, BUT U COULD TRY IT. I KNOW THAT IT WORKS IN THE LICENCE RECORDS AREA

Hmm, with your name, avatar, join date, and broken caps lock key, I'd bet $$$ that you ARE LEBSTA.

But that's not the issue here. I would've really liked that car, before it was kitted, painted, and otherwise cheezed-out. In fact, I OWN a newer version of that car. (See my sig for details) I'm just not a fan of that show-car 'style'. If I'm gonna dump money into my car (and I am) it's gonna be on turbo and suspension, not neon and pointy bodykits. Somebody once told me my car was 'nice, but not really show car material'. I said 'Thank you, that's the nicest compliment it's ever gotten'. Please understand, no disrespect intended, it's just not my thing.

I agree with CrackHoor, that car is one of the most tasteless vehicles I've ever seen, the 200sx is a nice looking thing in production guise...

My car budget goes on performance long before it goes on posing...

Generally speaking, people under the age of 20 seem to go for cars of that nature. It sure ain't my cup-o-tea...

Hehe dont all the bodykits fall off when you go over 60mph?
I must be odd cuz im 18 and I think it just looks stupid. Id rather drive a vauxhall vectra than that (well the V6 GSI one anyways)

LEBSTA,
The 200 is cool for the show scene.
But, here in the states, the cops would be all over you in that thing.
Spend the ducats under the hood, and on the suspension. Paint job? not too wild and the Po-po will leave you alone.
As an older "man of color" I am all about being as inconspicuous as humanly possible.

Hey, Gil, I have to ask, is that your '63 (or so) T-bird? If it is, nice!

And I agree on the analysis of the 200SX. It's fine for the show scene, but I just don't like show cars. For the money spent on it, he could have bought a competitive, used, small-bore race car, and be doing track days. Then he'd be learning how to drive fast, not learning how to polish his engine bay with a Q-tip.

But, to each his own...

Thanks, I wish it were mine!
Actually, my son and I found the pic on a classic T-bird site. MY 'Bird is Turquoise with a white top. The Pic just wouldn't fit the paramaters. It was like 10 pixels too wide.
My very first car, and my very first car ride were in the same 1962 T-bird.
My pops bought it for my mom as a wedding present in Aug. of 1962.
It is still in my parent's garage in North Carolina.
She stopped driving it soon after they were married. It kept getting run into on the Mean streets of San Francisco. So Pops bought mom a '62 Falcon, and she never got driven into again. :D
My Pops being cool like he is kept it until I was old enough to drive.

Hey, that's cool! I have a similar situation. My '67 LeMans convertible was bought new for my mom in Christmas 1966. There's a picture of me sitting in it at age two.

Mom drove it, and all of my sisters had a crack at it too. In fact, the only reason it's not a GTO was that my oldest sister turned 16 that year, blast her, and he wasn't going to risk it.

They gave it to me in high school and dad helped me fix it all up. Unfortunately it was my daily driver for 10 years or so and it could use a frame-off restoration now. Plus it has almost 270,000 miles on it. But it was a beautiful night tonight and sure enough it fired right up and took us out to dinner!

If you'd like an avatar of your actual car, send me a pic and I can fix one up. PM me about it if you're interested!

I bet all the GTO nuts look at it twice as you drive past. :D
Until about ten years ago my favorite uncle kept a yard full of Pontiacs. Mostly Bonnies though.
I guess we were lucky enough to go to High school when the cars were almost all 60's and 70's muscle cars.
I had a buddy who drove a 1966 Shelby GT-350-H to school every day.
Thx for the avatar offer. One of these days I'll just have to have my dad send me a 3/4 view of the car. The "broadside" view is just too much.
