Does anyone else find themselves craving a 3D virtual garage space?

It's been mentioned before, but the more I play GT5 and the more cars I accumulate, the more I think it'd be awesome if I had a space I could display several of them in, much like the PGR series on Xbox does. We've got Photo Travel and that's nice, but it's really quite a treat being able to see all of your most treasured possessions together. Even the simple, black background that showcases the individual cars in your garage would do.

When I first started playing GT5 I planned to have a collection of white Ferraris, but as I continued I realized it just doesn't feel like much of a collection when I can't even see them together. The same happened today when I couldn't choose between a black or white Evo IX. For a moment I thought to myself "It'd be pretty cool just to buy one black and one white and have a bit of a yin-yang pair thing going on", and then I remembered... thumbnails just wouldn't do it justice.

I do believe that was an idea that Kaz tossed about, if you ever sit at the main GT screen, you notice the car garage and it shows the newest added premium cars. I think Kaz might have cut that part out, it's not like it's impossible as we can literally walk all over courses in photo mode. Hopefully they might add it in for the GT6, because I can't see them patching that in for the main game.

I'd like to at least see my "favorite" cars in my garage, but not only that, be able to pick a car and head out onto a test track and even switch cars without the huge load times.

Auto Modellista...that game was awesome. I still have it but my ps3 can't play ps2 games. They should make another.

Haven't thought about it till now, was really cool in PGR and I would like it but I am happy with the current setup. SEGA GT had a cool garage where you could hang photos you had taken in game on the garage wall and add trophies you won in the garage space. That was pretty cool!

They should integrate it into PS Home somehow, I think that would be the way to go.

This would be awesome. My vision for it would be a wide but short garage (that you can choose the style of, for example, underground garage, hanger, parking lot, etc) and when you buy a car, you can place it anywhere in your virtual garage (like in photomode when you choose the position of the car). When you click on the garage icon, you walk around the virtual garage and picking the car by walking up to one and a glow around the car confirms what you are selecting.
