The way I see it now with the online racing, I will be playing GT for a couple years so I need for them to put all the old track available and start working on some new ones for after year 2.

Never liked NY, Seoul, or El Capitan, but I'd love to have all the other tracks back, and Seattle is high on my list.

It'd be really nice to have Apricot, Midfield, and SSR11 back, too.

I learned to love Seattle Circuit on GT4(I think) completing the super license.

I also miss Infineon.

I miss:

Hong Kong
Infineon
Apricott Hill ( my favorite)
El Capitan
Seattle
New York
Motegi
and Midfield.............:guilty:

+1, miss all of those :( i wish they had taken out Tsukuba instead.

PS, i absolutely detested Motorland, so glad thats gone.

+1

But in my case my favorite was El Capitan:grumpy:

Yeah I really like Seattle and El Capitan. The Deep Forest is also one of my favorites.

Agreed, although i don't remember Midfield

screw you guys, i miss test track

the LARGE OVAL (driving park test course as it's called in GT4)

I think the large city-type tracks with loads of detailed objects like shops, signs etc.. are going to be tough to reproduce on the PS3 at the level we've come to expect from GT5

"but there's tokyo and monaco" I hear you say...look closely, there's barely anything there compared to what HK or the NY tracks gave us in terms of number of objects.

There was also a comparison on eurogamer comparing GT4 to GT5 tracks and the ones like SSR5 have gained resolution and detail in single structures to the expense of complexity and overall number of objects. . .

Three letters: DLC

I'd be happy if they would just port over the tracks from GT4 as is. It isn't as if it would make that much of a difference for the day tracks, though the night tracks would pose a problem.

It was a figure 8 track... just before you came onto the main straight you went through a short tunnel, slight incline, then under a bridge. Relatively simple course-10 turns or so-but fast and a lot of fun.👍

ah yes i missed that track, that was my favourite drifting practice track back in GT3

Seattle, Midfield & El Capitan are all sorely missed :(

Agreed...especially Midfield...it was by faaaaaaaaar the best splitscreen track ever

and Grindelward I think it was called :( But instead we get to drive these new crappy tracks :grumpy:

Seattle and Midfield is deeply missed ...

Midfield, Seattle and Apricot Hill....

Apricot Hill was my FAVORITE! I loved that track... passing cars under braking into the turn at the end of the back straight. I feel like that track would be good for drifting now... lots of esses.

I loved Seattle Sooo much. Damn my ruf CTR2 and I were loving it. Is there, you think, any chance of seeing it in a futur DLC ?

I definitely miss Seattle and I miss also Citta' D'Aria, also Costa di Amalfi was a good one that is missing.

I don't miss it, I never liked that track. That being said I wouldn't complain about any tracks being added via DLC.

Seattle was probably my first favourite city track. I never really enjoyed it until GT4 for some reason.

Some of the choices made for GT5 have been very strange imo, and dropping Seattle was one of them imo. As was dropping Citta' D'Aria :(

I doubt we'll ever see the Seattle track again given how long it took to do Madrid and Rome for GT5. It would look silly if they just upscaled it and they can't go to Seattle to remodel it because the layout no longer exists.

This was by far one of my favorite tracks in the Gran Turismo series.

I hope they bring this track back online at least with the next patch. Does anyone else feel the same way?

Noob gameplay but you get the idea of the map.

I was thinking the same thing last night. I loved the down hill jumps.... Man i could catch nice air.......

Seattle is a wicked track for kerb hopping (my fave corner is the left-hander after the first hairpin).

Tracks that should definitely be brought back:
> Red Rock Valley (Wicked fun in the 'Scudo)
> Midfield
> Motegi
> Test Course (Veyron territory, that is)
> New York
> SSR11 (from GT1)

Seattle and Apricot Hill were awesome in the FGT, really miss them and they would fit so well in the online championships :(
After reading above post- Bring back Mid Field and SSR11!!!

I spent many an hour thrashing my Ford Mustang SVT Cobra around Seattle. Such a blast.

Troops

No actually, i miss New York...

Best scenery, best tight corners and not straight straights...

Stupid London.

I miss it, thought you'd think I wouldn't be after all those times I kept trying to beat that damn Viper with a Cobra R I'd hate this track, but I do miss it dearly. All the past tracks I miss. Those were some signature GT tracks. I'd pay for them to be back.

We don't need yet another rehashing of the tracks we want or think should have been included.

Locking.
