I Purchased a Fanatec Porsche 911 gt3-RS v2 not three months ago and I have noticed a few ways the wheel has begun to age and degrade. By far, the most annoying of these has to do with straight-line driving. Because the force feedback is generated from a belt, I have noticed a small area of sensitivity that has disappeared completely. I have to hold the wheel ever so slightly to the right for straight-line driving. It is something that I can brush off of my shoulders, but nevertheless it is still going to be be there. Another thing I have noticed is that the force feedback seems to weaken as the wheel begins to warm up and get hot. There isn't a significant amount of loss of power, but if you are an owner of either the gt2 or gt3 and you are experiencing the same or similar issues let me know. A good way to test this is to turn the force feedback settings on the wheel all the way to 100%, where it probably is most of the time anyways, then go do about 5-10 laps somewhere with using the X2010 in GT5. I am really curious to know if the newer CSR and CSR Elite have similar problems and issues. Anyways... I would love to hear that I'm not the only person experiencing these types of problems with my Fanatec wheel. Be sure to post something if you have any comments on the issues.

Turn the FFB on the wheel down to 30-40 from 100 and recentering the wheel might help out with the alignment.

How exactly to you recently it? What do you have to press?

It's the small button on the right side of the display screen on the wheel. You can adjust many options on the wheel that way.

Not to do what the OP needs. To recenter the wheel: turn it on, but don't activate PS3 mode. Then hold the 2 bottom buttons of the 4 on the left side of the wheel. While holding those, put it in the center and press the button on the base of the wheel. This should re-center it. If it doesn't work, try the same with the right-side buttons, but I think it's the left. If all else fails consult the manual. I have noticed that it seems to center a little differently on the PS3 than on the PC.

GT5 does do something odd that makes the wheel heat up more than most anything else. I usually have the FFB in-game on 5 and the wheel on 100. Some cars, like the X2010 and FGT, are a lot worse about it than others. I found just sending air from a small fan at the wheel makes it much better. I think some people just take the cover off of the wheel too.

I removed the plastic cover, after I smelled something burning :)

I think it is built with too small fans...

It still works, but not as smooth as before.

Post your thread there and you'll be advised how to preceed much better than in here.

I have a GT3 RS too and I can say that the loss of power when the wheel heats up is normal.
As for the belt thing you described it's just a placebo, you can't wear out a belt and lose sensitivity in that small ammount of time.
Wheel wobble is a GT5 issue which happens on every wheel apart from T500RS, on Fanatec wheels it happens only on X2010, X2011 and Ferrari F1.
If you want to reduce the wobble be sure to:
Run SEN at 900;
Have drift mode on max setting of 3;
Increase LIN or deadzone to 20;
Reduce FFB (on the wheel) to 70 or less.

That way you'll have much less wobble with X2010 and cars I mentioned.

I've often heard about the wobble, but the only time I've experienced it is with the FGT when I set the radius to 440 degrees. At 900 it's gone completely. No deadzone or other adjustments.

Oh god I can't wait to try these methods out for myself. I have been driving off with this wheel off-center for months now, and it is just getting worse. I don't recall there being any instructions on how to re-center their wheels in the manual that came with the device. They should make a point to make that more readily known and available to people. Thanks again for the help you guys.
