Does anyone have a loading issue?

This is the third time now I have been unable to load my save file. It keeps getting corrupted to the point where I don't even want to play the game in the fear that it will happen again. All my cars are gone, although it says I'm in a car. All my completed events are gone, my progress is gone. Seriously? Wtf is goin on

Why don't you just make a backup?
 
I have not had a problem (yet), but i'm taking backups regularly juuuust in case. Also, I have had some shutdown/crashes so I have been making a habit of quitting the game first then shutting down the PS3.
 
I must have had a loading problem as well. when game loading had the choice of prev saved game or new upload. or something of the sort. now I have no cars. in stats there is no game progress.no license. no stars.but I have won 307 wins. played 369 races 5,826,429 current credits. 18,839,959 total earnings. how do I get my cars and part of game back?
 
Just did the 24min Nurburgring, PS3 was spluttering like an 85 year old heavy smoker with asthma (lots of half second freezes) when near the start/finish line every lap, very scary!
