Does anyone here have their Formula GT with more than 936HP?

It seems 935HP is what you get when you buy it, oil change, then do an engine rebuild.
but I have heard some people claim that theirs had up to 954HP. (and engine break-in shouldn't apply here since it's a used car).
To anyone who got a Formula GT with over 936HP, how did you achieve that?

pssh. Mine is only 925hp. -_- Guess I gotta waste money on fixing it now. 925hp after oil change too.

Same 935BHP for me after oil change, with some 3,200km drove.

Do some tuning can increase power outputs, but top speed might be reduced and car handling may be changed dramatically. So be careful when you tune it, better search for tuning posts.

:)

I'm not that far yet, but do you need a lot of power for the FGT race? Because I don't want to waste cash on doing engine repairs.

You'll make your money back from doing the race so you're not really losing anything, personally, I needed every last ounce of power to win that race and I felt like death afterwards.

No you don't. Just stick soft slick's on, and increase the gear ratio's (as standard the fgt tops out at 350ish)

Don't bother, 50hp on a monster car only makes it harder to handle.
500K to make my car harder to drive? No Thanks.

Oh, that's why you haven't been online in a while...
GLOD? You mean Yellow Light Of Death? If so, the latest update allows you to back up your save on a USB stick, and as far as I know it's not tied to the PS3 but to the PSN account. So if you temporarily revive your old PS3 (look for youtube short term YLOD fixes) you could back up your save and transfer it on the new PS3.

On topic, so no one here got higher than 936? On another forum I heard users report 947, 949 and 954...

no i mean GLOD i never heard of it myself b4 i got it, ive had YLOD 2 times b4 so i know its not that. i dont get my old ps3 back and even if i do it will be formated so my save will be gone :indiff:

i kinda like and dislike the backup of save as you can use it to clone cars = no rare cars :yuck: but it would have been great to have it when i got GLOD :(

Yeah I completely agree with you on that, I hate those duping exploits as well... :(
I Googled GLOD, I heard about that problem before but I never heard about it being referred to as GLOD. Well, it's a good thing you are getting a new PS3 soon, I'll see you on PSN then :)

After I did the FGT series, it was down to 880HP/7500rpm. I gave it a wash, new oil an engine overhaul and a rigidity repair; it's now 936HP/17500 (mileage = 5690).

Im doing the opposite. Using one for bspec, has 20,000 miles so far, no oil changes, 800 hp and dropping:dunce:

You'll pay for that later if you want to get it back to 935hp. Running it for a long time like that on no oil change is what leads to needing an engine rebuild. I've seen it.

You could probably even give it an oil change right now, and there's likely a chance it won't make it back to 935hp. :dunce:

lol how about someone with the lowest X1 HP. I think mine is 1300hp.

My X1 dropped down to 1480ish hp after about 25 like the winds, oil change brought it back up. My F GT has allot of km's on it (13,000+km) has around 850 hp even with fresh oil, only use it online sometimes now and for the bobs to run some endurances.

Mine was 981 last I checked, after an engine rebuild and oil change. Maybe the number isn't totally correct as it seems awfully high but I'll double check tomorrow.
