Does anyone know how to unlock the menu in options to enable Steering,pitch and speed

I have been trying for months and can't get it to do a thing,I am not new to GT as I have finished it and enjoyed the game but couldn't get the rest of it to open up for me, Kike the options menu to adjust the pitch,speed and streeing. I have unlocked everything else.Does anyone know how to make this work
 
Welcome to GTP. I wasn't even aware that you could adjust those options, are you talking about the arcade version or the simulation version or doesn't it matter?

Thanks for the info on the Simulator menu for the speed ,pitch,steering. I was Unaware of the steering wheel you have to add on. Thanks anyway.

Yeah that figures, I should have known that. Guess my brain was dead that day!

Yeah I agree, I do need more game time. Not going to get it but thats another story.
