Does Bob level up faster if he races alone?

I've been grinding in B-Spec with the X2010 and have only just realised you don't have to select multiple drivers for the longer races if you don't want to. Does anyone know if the XP won in a race is divided between the drivers or do they all get the full amount?



(BTW I did get a rather cruel amount of satisfaction from making him do the 9 hour race all by himself. That will teach him for continually crashing into the Cote D'azure walls in the historic race :) )
 
Its divided up. Just use one. I actually hire new hot drivers for the indy 500 as their laptimes are quicker than a more seasoned driver.
 
Delete all your back up Bob's and leave just One Driver. Mine just drive now 24Hour Race alone! And he's doing fine. Progress Bar fills up much better now.

Because every one calls him Bob, he is Bob! Because B- first letter makes easier. Spec that's the reason.
 
sorry, n00b question... so even though it says you need 4 drivers (or however many for a certain race), you can just use Bob #1 and still get into the race? Or do you have to do something once you go into the race?
 
You can use just 1 bob if you like, regardless of what PD has defined as the maximum number of bobs, you don't need to do anything special.

Yeah you can just use 1 but if your car isn't much better than your opponents you should use a few drivers because they will deteriorate over time. When using something like the X2010 is doesn't matter if he's completely wiped out, he will still win by miles lol
 
I've also found that it splits based on the number of times a driver gets in the car. If you use 3 bobs and 1 races 2x while the others race 1x the xp gets split 4x.

Its actually split up per lap. I tested by having one Bob finish one lap and the other 3 do the rest of it. He barely got any at all (the lighter blue line was one pixel)
