Hi
My question is that , does DLC cars like the Black GTR 2012 , X2011 suffer from permanent power loss after long mileage?

How do you prevent a car from facing this problem ?
and if cannot , from how much mileage onwards does a car starts to suffer permanent power loss?
thanks

Yes. That is why you can now buy them in the NCD.

thanks for the info . but how long when u start seeing power loss?

16,000 miles is generally when it permanently starts. Anything before that can restored by an oil change and engine rebuild.

Does that mean I can keep restoring a car at 15,999 mile and it will be good as new as long as I take care of it?

errr, I think it's after 16k miles . your engine BHP will go down in total no matter what . that's what I've read . may be wrong

Merry X'mas :)
It's 33 C here in Malaysia....a little hot for Xmas

As long as you never drive it again, your idea would work. Once it ticks over to 16000 it degrades and cannot be salvaged.

Its stupid isnt it. Isnt the point of an overhaul to fix any problems even if the engine has 10000000000000000 miles?

What is 16.000 miles in normal measurement systems?

I have noticed a change in the distance between engine rebuilds lately.
Before i used to rebuild my B-spec mule every 10 000km (6000 miles)
Now i have to rebuild every 5000 km!
If anyone knows for sure that permanent power loss comes at 16 000 miles, how come i can get max horsepower from rebuilt UCD cars that have 100 000km on them?
Does permanent loss only occur after you have driven the car 16 000 miles yourself, or what?

I guess it is because you can only rebuild an engine so many times before you cannot do it any more.
